Reviews of Kroger Pharmacy
"The location has the most incompetent techs and pharmacists in the Kroger Network. It’s laughable to presume these people are formally educated. Not only do they not track inventory properly, but they’re inept at operating their own basic software. Don’t bother prescribing to this pharmacy. Powers Ferry & Atlanta road locations seem to be more appropriately staffed."
"I do not this trust this pharmacy. There’s a female who knows what she’s doing but I do not trust the dark haired male with glasses. Unfortunately, I never know if my prescription will be filled by the female or the male. I’ve had two issues, only with him, and will not go back."
"ALL Staff is very unhelpful here. They have texted saying prescriptions were ready and then when picking up they say it's not or they put it back after 4 days. They have not wanted to help when it was 5 minutes before closing. They have said they couldn't find the key to getting items behind the counter. Anddd they will NOT ring up any other items even if it's 2 or 3 items if that is all you are wanting to check out with in addition to your prescription. I chose to no longer use this pharmacy because of the terrible staff and customer service."
"I work as a NURSE! I had surgery, was given a script for medication by my surgeon, and called this pharmacy to verify if the medication was available. I gave her all the information needed to fill the script and told her I was on my way with the hard copy. While in pain I dressed myself in sweats and a t-shirt went to fill the script. I When I got there she refused to fill the medication saying she couldn't fill the script because they were closing in 20 min. I reitetated the obvious. This was a pain medication that I was prescribed post surgery. She still refused. I then asked if you won't fill it could you please help me find the medicine I needed. Reluctantly she looked in the system the and said that the Cobb County location had the medicine but they would be closing with in the hour. So I drove in pain 30 min to another county for the medicine. I called ahead to verify medicine. However but when I got there they refused to fill the script saying they didn't have it even though I had just called and she said I would need a written script from the doctor. As a nurse I have worked closely with many pharmacists. I gave both of them everything needed and more. Frustrated and in severe pain, I called the corporate help center for assistance. The next morning I returned to Howell Mill and was treated with the same discord. The pharmacist actually had the nerve to tell me I should go to the ER to get pain medicine. It wasn't until I started rattling off my credentials, my public record of licensure on the secretary of state website sos.ga.gov and threatening to report the pharmacy and licensure of all 3 pharmacists involved to the office of Brad Raffensperger that I finally got the pain medicine my doctor prescribed for me post surgery 3 days prior. When I finally recieved a call back from the pharmacy area representative 2 days later her response to the hassle, runaround and lack of concern for a patient in pain was that I was being profiled as a drug abuser. Even though I had all the necessary information, legitimate documents, plus my post surgery notes including discharge instructions, the managers actual response was that I was profiled as a drug abuser because I was black and showed up in sweats and t-shirt and unfortunately that's the kind of climate we live in. She offered no condolence to the mistreatment I recieved. I WILL NEVER SUBSCRIBE TO YOUR MANTRA! Personally I'm not that kind of guy to leave the house in sweats BUT I had just had surgery and was in pain. Just because I'm an African American male and didn't show up bright eyed and in a suit and tie does not give you the right to treat me as if I have personally done you wrong. If I was doubted a simple due diligence check would have shown you that I came prepared, bringing everything you needed and more. As a healthcare professional, I recognize the challenges faced; however, I also know the oath that we take to be servants of humanity. That day Kroger Pharmacists, you failed and the response of your leadership is shameful."
"On multiple occasions, this pharmacy location has let me down on getting my medication. It’s disappointing that as the client AND patient, I have to be the one coordinating and calling them each time to get the ball rolling with filling a time-constrained prescription. Thank goodness it’s not a life-saving medication I need like epi or insulin! The only positive thing I can say is that pharmacist Emma is always a comfort and bright light to talk on the phone. She bends backwards to help me out and is true to her word in calling me back, so kudos to her! It’s too much of a headache to deal with this location though, so I won’t be returning."
