Publix Pharmacy at Paces Ferry Center

"I had my wisdom teeth removed and visited five different pharmacies to fill my prescription but they were out of stock. I’ve never used Publix Pharmacy and will never make another attempt. We called before visiting the pharmacy to confirm they had the medication and they would be able to file the prescription. We were asked to verify the prescribing doctor’s name which we did. I finally arrive with some relief only to be told she, the rude pharmacist could not fill my prescription. She stated the doctor in which we verified before, was too far for her to fill. I was completely irritated and already in so much pain. The kicker is, I went across the street to Walgreens and they filled the prescription without any problems. Moral of the story, great grocery store, below average pharmacy."

"I come here to get all my prescriptions and they’re always quick and very pleasant, but I have to say I received exceptional service today from the assistant pharmacy manager. I needed my flu shot and was lucky there was no wait today and they did it so quickly, and she gave me the most pleasant vaccine experience I have ever received!! She was so gentle and kind and quick, and I have never felt more comfortable getting my vaccine. I know this may not be a big deal to most but I am always so nervous when I get vaccines and have a tendency to feel anxious and lightheaded afterwards, but not this time. I was able to easily and quickly walk around as soon as the vaccine was over. I just want to say a big thank you to her for making the experience so much easier for me! I will definitely come back here in the future and would recommend friends and family to come here as well. :)"

"Really frustrated and annoyed with this pharmacy. I have a very sick dog, filled meds here because was told they could get them the following Monday. This was Friday morning. The only reason I used Publix was because I was told the meds would be in on that day- otherwise CVS was half the price. I decided to spend the extra money because I didn’t want to wait any longer to get the meds to my pet. CVS couldn’t get the meds in until Wednesday. So here we are Monday at 3:40 pm and I call to check the status. Publix tells me “oops we didn’t order them on time Friday” now it will be middle of the week. I’m furious. I am spending MORE now and getting them in the same time frame after being seriously mislead. Now I get to go home and listen to my dog struggle to breathe another two nights. I’m so inconvenienced I’m not even going to shop at this Publix any longer. I’ll drive the extra mile to go to Kroger."

"The grocery store itself is fine. However I’ve had a couple of prescriptions filled in the pharmacy and each time the pharmacy techs have been unprofessional and unpleasant - which contrasts so sharply with the service typically received at Publix. I will not be returning to this pharmacy."

"I want to preface this by saying this grocery store may be OK if you are a vegetarian. But if don't have any religious or dietary restrictions that prevent you from eating animals then you probably want to avoid this grocery store. I sent my wife to buy 2 briskets over the last couple of months and she brought home 2 pathetic cuts of meat that were less than 4 pounds each and had hardly any fat on it. When she asked the butcher they said they used to be able to make their own cuts but these puny briskets are all they get now. I could not make these rubbery cuts taste good even with my extraordinary cooking skills."
