"We called and ask if we were self cash pay what the rate would be for teeth cleaning and X-rays. We were quoted $165. I went for the appt and they didn’t even do all the X-rays. When finished I went to check out and was SHOCKED to say the least to be charged $377. Would not recommend unless you have insurance or can prepay for the services!"

"This is the FIRST public review I have EVER made…..My family of 6 has been going to see Dr Durand/Lanier Dental for over 15 years now and will no longer be patients of hers/theirs. After one daughter had a dental emergency (broken front tooth and exposed nerve) on New Year’s Eve, and 4 phone calls left for 2 different doctors…NO CALL BACK until 1/3/23. We went in that day, were sent for an emergency root canal, and appt was made to return on 1/5 for temp work to be done before a crown could be scheduled. On 1/4, Barbara, the office manager calls to tell me that they no longer accept Guardian Dental insurance! YET WE WERE ALREADY IN TREATMENT!! Upon arriving on 1/5, she made me sign a statement and pay $164 for the work. Sure enough…in April, I receive a bill for $571.50 for being out of network!! I have been into the office with a different daughter since, spoken to them in person, exchanged a number of phone calls and messages, but no change. They have also since MISFILED the second daughter’s insurance and won’t reimburse the company that paid $85 in error, unless the insurance company contacts them to request it!! So…they don’t mind being overpaid! And don’t mind being dishonest about it! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN TO ANYONE!!! I can’t say how many patients I’ve sent their way, but they clearly don’t appreciate it, nor having our business anymore. I should also note that they are trying to charge 3 percent on credit AND DEBIT CARDS now! This is illegal for DEBIT cards. I had to fight to keep my 3 percent and even had to call VISA directly to prove it to them. They are clearly making plenty of money if they can keep dropping the insurance they accept, and don’t mind accepting erroneous payments and passing junk fees onto their patients."

"Dr Leslie McGuinn Davis TRULY cares for her patients. My husband was in excruciating pain from a tooth likely needing a root canal but his appointment was 4 days away with a specialist. She met me on a holiday weekend to provide a prescription to get him through. Then, she offered to come into the office on a Sunday to perform emergency treatment! Unheard of service! I've been in helalthcare for 20+ years; she's at the TOP of my list of physicians of empathetic, truly caring providers. I'm beyond impressed! Thank you Dr Davis!"

The staff is very friendly and has a true desire to exceed your expectations. For me my expectation is to be able to have my appointment during my lunch hour.
