"Server was good but the house dressing is mostly vinegar, the bread sticks under cooked, cheese dip had chunks of garlic, we had cod fish that could have been cooked longer, the frys were over seasoned. Music to loud. The ice tea was good."
"Good pizza, great breadsticks, and entrées are fairly portioned. Salads seems to vary at times, and unfortunately have been missing key ingredients at times (Cobb without egg, as an example). Still, overall worth the visits and the service is always great."
"Got takeout on a busy Saturday night. It was ready in less than 30 minutes. Food was pretty good (especially Greek salad), good value for what we received, however, we ordered something with marinara instead of meat sauce and it came with meat sauce. I called the restaurant hoping for a refund, the manager I spoke to was super helpful and friendly and resolved the issue right away. Overall a great experience!"
"This was the second time we've eaten here. We loved it, a year ago. This time, it was pretty awful. My friend, literally, took two bites of her food and couldn't eat it. Yes, it was taken off her bill, but I don't understand how they could serve that to a guest. The chicken was burnt and the sauce was sickeningly sweet. My pasta was overcooked, so it was all mushy; I swear they smothered it in sauce and cheese, hoping I wouldn't notice. The fish, simply didn't look appetizing and tasted okay. The French onion soup was MUCH better a year ago. This time, it was just okay, and rather bland. The mozzarella sticks were good and so were the breadsticks (that didn't come with sauce, it's $2 per cup of sauce) but that isn't enough to keep us choosing to eat there again. It was very busy when we were there, so our server didn't get the chance, very often, to bring us more water and pop. The margarita and Pina colada were good, but I'm used to a $10 drink being bigger than that! Our meals were kind of pricey, so it was just a disappointing visit, all the way around. Maybe it was just an off night, I don't know, but at those prices, we aren't willing to try again."
"This was a great place in Fenton, MI. We had actually planned on a different restaurant that was one of the last places my brother went with my nephew and his family but when we arrived there, we found it closed because it was Monday, so after a bit of a scramble we decided to go back to Fenton, which is closer to my nephews home anyway. The Fenton House was founded in 1987 and has been serving food in the Fenton community since then. There is a full in-house bar service and a rather unusual carry out area for beer & wines. There is a fun game room with some unique features like a full-size Hungry, Hun, Hhippo game that you can actually sit on to play…… they offer a children’s birthday party service that comes with pizza and cake, and a certain amount of tokens for the birthday children. My nephew had a beautiful Caesar salad, which he gobbled up despite the size and then ate a fair amount of his spaghetti and meat sauce, AND meatballs too!! He also had a shot of the whiskey that his father favored . I started with some French onion soup, which was mediocre. However, the breadsticks they brought, or absolutely fabulous and an entire basket full. They were warm and delicious and actually when I shared with my niece where we had gone the first thing she asked me was, “did we have the breadsticks”???-so instead of being famous for the onion soup in our book, they are famous for their breadsticks. My sandwich was absolutely enormous and it was delicious. It was home cooked corn beef with plenty of a red cabbage slaw on delicious grilled bread. I’ve never seen such a large piece of bread, I don’t know where they are curate but I do know you don’t leave hungry and you possibly leave with an entire meals worth of food, which is what both my nephew and I took home We definitely are excited to return and try more of the menu ."
