Reviews of South Cherokee Softball
"good for kids playing baseball but need more toilets!"
"Great concessions, only reason for 1 star. Our last two softball tournaments were held here. We’ve played travel ball for 2 years now at dozens of parks between Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia, and not one of them had even close to the bug problem this park has had. Every single girl on the team and every single parent was stung by a sweat bee at least once. Our bags were overrun with biting ants, we were practically inhaling gnats. Giant bees everywhere. It’s like this place has zero pest control. It was so miserable I had to take the baby and sit in the truck for 5 hours just to keep him from getting bit, while I watched the games on Gamechanger instead. I never thought I’d feel the need to leave a review on a park but these were two very miserable experiences. If our next tournament gets scheduled here we may actually protest."
"This is my sons 1st yr. He is 4 and autistic. I can't say enough good things about his coaches. I'm on Lee Hydes team and he and the rest of the coaches have been nothing but amazing with my son. Every single coach. Very patient and kind as if he were their son. Definitely makes me want to come back here to play again"
"This place is really great. The coaches have a good mix of skill building and less have fun. The fields are nice. The only nitpick thing is it can be tought to turn into the parking area and parking can be hard to get sometimes."
"I really enjoyed visiting this park. The snack bar is good, restrooms ok, parking was sufficient for the event and the weather was gorgeous."
