"Beautiful and clean picnic and beachy area. Large swing available to sit and look over the water (shaded). Ample parking. Highly recommend."
"Very nice state park. Beautiful place on the water. Plenty of bathrooms and open space. Plenty of activities from basketball to swimming pool amphitheater and more. You have a chance of seeing wildlife like deer. We camped here the sites are paved and level. Like most state parks there is water and electricity but no sewer connection. Highly recommended this place."
"Beautiful park! Plentiful campsites, many with paved pads. The spacious and pleasant air-conditioned recreation hall (meeting room) has plenty of natural light, a roomy kitchen and ample restrooms, plus a deck overlooking the pool and lake. Campground area A has 8 individual full bathrooms with walk-in showers, which are meticulously maintained by Robert and Ann, the hard-working and friendly camp hosts. The gift shop is staffed by helpful and informative people who really know and care about this park and its history (thank you, Amanda!)."
"We overnighter at Harrison State Park on our way north. We stayed in loop A site 18. As we understood, loop A was roomier than the other loops and we would agree. We camped in a 28 ft. Travel trailer and could keep our TV attached. Beautiful sunset and a quiet night sleep. It is a bit of a twisty road coming to the park but no issues with our 50ft. Total length. We would stay again and probably longer to explore what the area has to offer."
"As a local to the area, I love the walking Bay Loop with my family and our dog. The terrain is a dirt rocky path. I love the small beach areas to sit and rest. The path is filled with wonderful wildlife animals. Bay Loop is mostly a shaded trail, with some portions visible to the bay. Camping is available within the State Park."
