Reviews
"It's probably my least favorite Tennessee State Park that I have been to. I like to hike. The hiking trail is not terrible. The views of the lake are nice. It's just not great. Don't make a special trip but if you're in the area anyway and want to go to a state park for whatever reason, this is a good option."
"My go-to launching spot for paddle board & kayak adventures! This park is typically quiet on the weekdays with only a few fishermen around. They have nice hiking trails and I often see wildlife in the park, including one encounter with two baby foxes."
"Love this place. Has what we're calling the rage hike. It's long enough that you can get whatever it is out of your system before you make the loop. So good. Lots of picture perfect scenery."
"Absolutely beautiful!! We did the blue 3.9 mile hike. There are areas to sit, relax along the hike. Will definitely go back soon to kayak the calm waters."
"I enjoyed my visit here! It seemed like a locals only kind of park. A great location to get out of the house and stretch your legs. I visited in late afternoon, and most of the other hikers I encountered had their dogs with them. I would love to visit this location again and walk all the trails. The views on the outer loop of the water were beautiful, even in the day of winter."
