"While hiking at Pine Mountain on 10-25-2019 I found myself lost. I finally got to a road that allowed cell service. I had wondered for hours unable to call for help due to signal issues. I was soaked to the skin and it was around 2 am before I found the road. I call 911 for Harris County. I explained my situation as well as conveying my embarrassment at being lost. The 911 dispature assured me that it was common to get lost there, this woman is a consumate professional. She dispatched a deputy and EMS, naturally I was expecting embarrassed and scared to deathThe deputies could not have been kinder. Kudos for An amazing department. Everyone involved gave a great perspective on law enforcement. Thanks to all of the authority involved."
