"My usual Chinese restaurant was closed tonight and this place was rated higher than my usual. I can definitely see why! It seems like everything is homemade instead of frozen! Such good food and really nice people!"

"These two are by far the sweetest folks I've met so far in tally!! (Just moved here from NO so i am SPOILED).. and the food is delicious! Got the egg rolls and veg lo mein- both are hitting the spot! Everything else in this town has been highly disappointing but I'll be coming back here again and again, so relieved I found a food oasis! Edit: by the time I'm done with this lo mein it will have provided me with 5 or 6 meals.. now I add a little broccoli and/or mushrooms (& sometimes an egg!) whenever I heat some up which stretches it of course, but still, it's a lot of food!! Great little trick if you're on a budget and don't have the energy to cook much :)"

"Probably the best Chinese food in Tallahassee. "Philly" took the time to explain differences in the foods we were looking for and explained some regional changes to expect. In short, if you enjoy Chinese food and have a general curiosity about different styles and tastes, I can't recommend anywhere else to start. Don't neglect the sauces and spice things up a bit. They even had knowledge about Filipino, Japanese, and Indonesian dishes. A local treat. Hopefully their dining room returns. A tip I almost forgot, if your looking for another version of pork fried rice Tans doesn't offer, buy a pint, chop up the pork, add chives, and add additional soy sauce as you fry it again lightly at home!"

"One of the better Chinese takeout places in Tallahassee. The prices are better than a lot of places, and the portion was what you would expect. The General Tso’s was good, with a nice balance of sauce that left the chicken with a good crunch to it. Of all the takeout only type places in Tallahassee this one has been the best so far!"

"Why would anyone purchase this food? First off this is takeout only the inside is in shambles with no place to sit and wait and it appears as if everybody buys their food online and just rushes in to pick it up. Now for one of the things that I just don’t understand here in Tallahassee, this restaurant is highly rated and yet the two meals we got we’re not edible. The beef lo mein was so overcooked it was mushy and completely dried out with a few pieces of beef that were like shoe leather, then some special Japanese shrimp and pasta dish which turned out to be nothing more than the same over cook dried out lo Mein noodles with shrimp and a bit of egg added to it, total bill over $30 result we had to find something else to eat. Shame on any restaurant that would charge $15 for a handful of dried out pasta. So sad to toss $30 + in the trash!"
