"Tried the gator bites for the first time. (Went there with family on 1/27/24.) I was skeptical. My cousin ordered it I tried his. Gator bites were REALLY good!!! Had fried fish for my entree with veggies and side salad. it was ok. Ordered a salmon dinner to go for my hubby, he said it was ok. He liked the salmon dinner Cheddars used to serve better. Overall, food could stand a little more seasoning. It's NOT WHAT is used to be " back in the day"...more than 10+ yrs ago. Maybe I will try the BBQ next time. Won't go there for fish again ***Oh if you have a big group..GRATUITY IS AUTOMATIC. SO CHECK and ask EXACTLY how large the group would be for that to happen. I forget. We had more than 8 people at our table."

"Delightful service, bathrooms weren’t clean. Fishing decor. Clean in the diningroom. Coleslaw, sweet tasty. Could tell it was hand cut, since some of the cabbage was left in larger pieces. Tiny portion of coleslaw compared to other restaurants for the price. Lunch prices on par with local prices. Off lunch prices a little high compared to other places. Very ample portions of okra and mullet"

"Sep-30-2023 My husband, our two sons ages, two and 11 months, and my 6 months pregnant self all ate here today. For the very first time. We got the cheese stick appetizer to share. Those were some of the best cheese sticks I've ever had. I ordered the Catfish dinner with fried okra and baked beans. My husband got the country fried steak meal. The kiddos got a grilled cheese and fries. They also helped us eat our food as they always do. Everyone loved their food. I can't wait to eat here again. We'll have to stop by when I have my next appointment with the Maternal-Fetal Medicine clinic here in Albany. Our waiter was so great. He was really kind, helpful, and attentive. He just seemed all together like a good person. He would talk to our little boys like they were family. He made sure we were all taken care of regularly. I believe his name was Jonas. His kind words and understanding meant a lot."

"You have to grab life by the horns every once in a while, and today I was grabbing some big ones. Place looked like it had its usual clientele, very comforting scenery, with a nice after church group attending. The food was pretty good, didn't realize how much fried stuff was on the menu and how much of it I ordered when the final plate came out. Still it was filling, nice to try some seafood every once in a while."
