"Service was great! But the food wasn’t that good. I got the Mongolian beef which was a bad cut of meat and all fat and chewy; overly saucy and the fried rice was not fried. My partner got the honey garlic chicken that was over fried and dried out the chicken and the breading; the sauce was watered down honey and odd undercooked veggies. The crab ragoons were ok but not fried all the all the way and the spring rolls had no seasoning."

"Stopped in to get a lunch to go. I have been looking for a go to Chinese restaurant locally and now I can stop looking! Service was excellent and my food was great. I had Fresh Mango Chicken with fried rice and egg roll with hot and sour soup. It was super. The hot and sour soup was some of the best I have had. If you haven't tried Hong Kong Star you need to come by.. 9/6/23 update We came to eat in tonight with two other couples. We had fantastic service and great food and love this place. I said that it would be my new Go to for Chinese and it is. So we had hot and sour soup and egg drop soup, moo goo gai pan, chicken and Chinese eggplant, shrimp and lobster sauce, cashew chicken, in the house special the fried rice. All the dinners were wonderful as were the egg rolls and the chicken wings and the crab rangoon that you get is accompaniments to the dinner. Overall a great visit. You need to come try this one"

"I'm pleasantly surprised. My husband and I enjoyed our meal so much. It's always a little nerve-wracking, walking into a different establishment for us. We are the type of people that knows what and where we like to eat. We rarely try different places or things. I am so glad we did. We both liked our food and we really appreciated the price. We ordered 3 lunch specials (because I really like lo mein and seemed chicken). Our total was just over $30 and we came home with 2 bags full of leftovers. The only thing that I wasn't a fan of was the dimly lit atmosphere. However, that is a preference thing. The servers continually circled the dining room to ensure everyone had what the needed at all times."
