100 Hibachi & Sushi

"Giving it 5 stars even though I don't think it was me. I didn't think it was amazing but it wasn't bad either. I realize I am pretty picky about my hibachi and was hoping I found the perfect place. Cute and clean little restaurant. You can order on a kiosk or at the counter. Either way, greeted with a smile. I tried chicken, shrimp, and steak so I would know for future reference which I liked best. I am big on texture and didn't like how soft the chicken and steak were. Again....I am picky and I know it. The shrimp was good and not fishy. I didn't love how it comes out in a bowl because I don't typically mix all my stuff together but had to since my rice was hidden under the bottom of meat/veggies. You get one white sauce that is really good but be prepared to pay for any extra. I have never been a fan of this, especially when I am dining in. There was complimentary cold water which was cute but didn't like the small cups and no ice though I am sure they would have given me some if I would have asked. In summary, it is worth a try. Good addition to the area and you may love it. I hope they do well."

"I’m very impressed with the sushi here. Eaten it twice. Some of the best in Chattanooga. They don’t overload the roll with rice and the rice isn’t overcooked. Soy sauce is Japanese. Tempura was right on…nice light breading and just the right amount of sauce. They offer boba and hibachi too, but I haven’t tried them. Only downside is you can’t customize your orders. Want your boba less sweet? Can’t do it. Want a roll without masago? Can’t do it. The kiosk keeps it simple but then you can only get what they offer. Dine in atmosphere is clean and comfortable with good music. They bring your food on a tray to your table in to-go containers. So definitely closer to a fast food experience than a dine-in experience."

"Service was excellent. Very helpful and informative staff. Hibachi, sushi, miso soup, salad were excellent. Next time I'll add extra vegetables to the hibachi. Spring rolls and Boba I won't order again. If you've never had Boba, this is not the place for your first experience."
