"Unfortunately I didn't even get a chance to talk to the lawyer himself. I was hoping to get help with property that belong to my family and was told that they don't deal with what they "thought"that I needed. It would've been nice to at least take advantage of the free 30 minute consultation so he could get the full picture of my situation and would've saw that probate court wasn't what I needed."
"If you're looking for lawyers who will win your case, and you have the money for their non-refundable retainer on hand, I would definitely say to go with them. However, if you are going to them because you are stressed about a legal situation and you don't have the money on hand to give them, I would go elsewhere. They won my case, which ended up being more simple than expected because my landlord sold my debt, but I used their servicer to pay the retainer and that may have been one of the worst mistakes of my life. Their third party servicer took my money and disappeared for a year- they said they would handle it and have it settled. The servicer re-appeared and paid the retainer and so I am stuck having to pay them behind schedule which is inconvenient for a recent grad but it is what it is. Moreover, I had issues with tracking this issue through their office because they claimed to make notes on my file about it, yet I would continually receive invoices despite calling multiple times to discuss the situation with them. My situation was financial and thus, more financial stress was even more distressing. There were miscommunication's between myself and the staff in the office which resulted in my asking for assistance and clarification once the servicer reappeared, and Mr. Williams thought that it was more important to maintain a condescending attitude toward me than hear my frustrations about the inconvenience of the situation. This resulted in him sending me aggressive emails continuing to misunderstand my frustration in which I had to discuss that I believed he was purposely trying to misunderstand me. Finally, there were issues with being continually contacted by parties and there was no resolution to this or assistance with next steps to address it, even though the full retainer had not been used- but the servicer hadn't paid them so I'm assuming this is why they denied me any additional help. However, I will say that their paralegal (who I will not name as I am not sure if that is appropriate) was at least very responsive in attempting to help in this situation. The office staff are also at least very kind, even if there were frustrating situations happening. Overall, I want to say that I don't believe this is a bad business, I just want young people who need help to be aware of what could happen and know what they're getting into. If you are in distress, please consider your next decisions very carefully."
"Original review follows, this is an addition: within 24 hours of this review, I had a call from Mr Williams and the job we hired them for (write a pre litigation letter) was done. Anyone reading this take that as you like. A month ago we asked the Williams Law Group to help us with a company ghosting us on completing a job. They gave us Mr Calvo. We paid a retainer and had a meeting with him. We have been working with Ms Shaun Gatling, his paralegal. In the month since our meeting nothing has happened, and ironically we’ve been ghosted by them as well. Today I asked for a refund with itemized billing if we don’t get the full retainer back. They have 24 hours to respond."
"Williams Law Group came to my rescue 2 times in the past 9 months and I must say I am thankful for having them as trusted advisors and attorneys. There processes are all seamless and very efficient when it comes to collecting information. I never had to go out of my way for anything. It was a great experience for both myself and my uncle. Both issues were unfortunate situations; however, Williams Law Group assisted in Navigating us through the legalities and making sure we were satisfied with the results. I would recommend their services to anyone in need of legal representation."
"Williams Law Group met and exceeded my expectations. I was kept thoroughly abreast of all correspondence sent and received on my behalf. My questions were answered in a timely manner and in great detail. I was always treated as if my case was their number one priority. If you’re looking for a legal team that will defend you like you’re family this is the place for you. Great work and thank you for your patience, time and care that you put forth in everything you do."
