"A waste of $50k. I would have gotten the same results if I had represented myself except I would have an extra 50k for my kids. I just lined the pockets of a company before Christmas with NO results."
"This was the absolute best experience I could have had with a divorce attorney and paralegal. Georgetta and Cristy were amazing, they protected me and supported me throughout the entire process, and I put total faith and confidence in them to keep my case moving, resolution focused, and making sure I walked away with a favorable outcome and my head held high. I will recommend Meriwether and Tharp to anyone I know facing the terrifying challenge of divorce and I am very happy with my entire experience."
"MT Law really advocated for me as a client. Their team was kind, diligent, thorough, and patient with me in handling my case. Thank you, Attorney Brannon and her legal team, for working with me and my family!"
"My case is a complex one. I went pro se which resulted in horrible results for me in my divorce. I contacted various offices and was a bit frightened of the huge firm Meriwether and Tharp, which I'd heard of for years on WSB radio never knowing one day I would need their services. At first contact the representative Patricia gave me valuable information that I could use immediately. I waited a few moments not sure but decided to move forward with them, this was after my divorce was finalized...Meriwether and Tharp stepped in like the dream team they are and immediately started working on correcting my errors due to me going prose against my ex-husband who had an attorney. This firm is exceptional to say the least, from the front desk representatives, to .accounting, to the attorney and her team. There are about 6 people supporting me. I am so thankful to God to have such an honest firm and attorneys that see me as more than just an account. If you want results, if you want professionalism, honest communication and availability call the dream team at Meriwether and Tharp! Love these people! May God continue to bless this firm and their continued success."
"STAY AWAY! Please read all reviews carefully - the "1 star" reviews very much reflect our experience with Meriwether & Tharp (MW). I feel taken advantage of - especially financially. MW will quote a price to do something & then charge far more than what they told you for something that accomplished nothing. Expect multiple attorneys - all looking at the same information - each charging $$ for their time. This firm has no problem redundantly charging for a single action just because several people looked at same documentation. I have never worked with anyone that bills whatever they feel is appropriate after quoting far less initially - and then give the excuse that they can't accurately predict what something will cost. This firm is more interested in how much money they can get from you than getting a "just" result. MW will give you enough "false hope" to continue legal action instead of presenting a practical outcome & sticking to a reasonable plan. This simply drags things out & allows MW to continue to overcharge their billable hours. MW took action that helped opposing counsel & then tried to make excuses for poor decision making. Our case eventually went to court - MW attorney asked us to review opposing counsel paperwork during trial because they were unfamiliar with information being presented. I could not believe how unprepared MW attorney was to appear in court. People seek out a law firm to help guide them through the legal process. Our shortcoming was to trust MW to act in our best interests - only to have to fight with your own lawyer over actions taken that accomplished far less than promised. Can not in good conscience recommend this firm to anyone."
