Grant Park Community Garden - Grant St
About the Business
Grant Park Community Garden on Grant St is a vibrant community space located at 970 Grant Street Southeast in Atlanta, Georgia. This garden, established in 2011 by a group of dedicated residents, offers both Household Plots and Plant-A-Row Plots where members come together to grow fresh produce for donation to local organizations. With 25 Household Plots and 15 Plant-A-Row Plots, the garden stewards have donated over 400 pounds of fruits and vegetables annually.
Participants in the garden come from various gardening backgrounds and are committed to using only organic methods. Beyond the joy of harvesting their own crops, members also enjoy the sense of community and camaraderie that comes from working towards a shared goal. The garden is a project under the Grant Park Neighborhood Association and is one of two community gardens in the area.
Located near The Beacon and the future Beltline Southside Trail, the Grant Park Community Garden on Grant St is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. Visitors can also support the garden by choosing to have their compostables picked up by CompostNow and shared with garden partners. Join us in cultivating a thriving community and helping those in need through the power of gardening.

"Too much fun"
"Blooming!"
"Grant Park Community Garden will make you smile. We grow yummy food, beautiful flowers (and quite a few weeds). Our growers grow food for their own consumption and to donate to others in need. We also have a lot of fun being gardeners together. Stop by for a visit!"
"Easily the best community garden in grant Park!"
