"This park is much more than you'd first expect! At first glance, it appears like a few well-kept tennis courts. Beyond those, however, is an impressive array of ball fields, associated batting cages, and playgrounds. Out of respect for the fields, some portions of this park restrict dogs, but there is plenty of space regardless. Hats off to the groundskeepers, as I was not expecting to be wowed by the appearance of all these fields. Well done! I'll also note there appears to be decent parking and a gazebo/picnic area that can accommodate a large group."
"Cobb county parks: bring back the park rangers unit. I have lived here all my practical life (since 1977) and Rhyne park used to be devoid of such things as speeding cars, drug use, and any type of crime. As the anti-law enforcement crowd has no doubt put pressure on the county to lax up on patrols, the park is now a daily hangout for Fast and Furious car clubs screeching tires and doing doughnuts. As I live adjacent to this park, I have the extra added bonus of getting high of weed smoking from people who are ashamed or secretive about their drug habit but seem perfectly okay toking up. Then there are the constant violators setting off fireworks- despite being clearly posted and against county ordinance, people have no problem blowing off rockets like it's a Space-X facility. Speaking of noise, there is the constant sound of low rent high SPL car audio systems, and then those who have no problem bringing a PA amplified music system into this place because they mistook it for Six Flags. This park used to be a quiet place of refuge that NEIGHBORS could enjoy with their children without fear of what I have mentioned above, nevermind stolen vehicles with missing owners being abandoned, late night sounds of destruction, and overall urban din as no one with authority enforces the rules. Calls to Cobb 911 are answered quickly, professionally, but PCT 3 officers are usually at least 30 minutes or more away, granted, they are short staffed and higher priority calls in the zone remove their ability to respond. When CCPD had actual PARK RANGERS assigned to these parks, this kind of nonsense didn't happen. People visiting these parks need to be respectful of residents adjacent. This should not be a place to come and practice "the Purge". Without consequences, there won't be corrective actions. Sad, as this is a very nice place that was given to the county and it's citizens by the Rhyne family for all to enjoy and it's being ruined by a few rude law breakers."
"Good park to play baseball, it has with 4 fields, 2 net practice and also Kids play area."
"Fairly nice park with 4 lighted tennis courts (not well swept) and baseball, softball facilities, plus covered pavilions for large picnics, etc. Plenty of parking. Great to have this county amenity."
"Not such a great experience, although I know I can have a wonderful experience another day, playground equipment was broken and not properly secured, and witnessed animal cruelty, I had some not do nice exchange in words with the owners..I did get pictures of the car and culprit. What he did was not okay by any means! If you see this car please be aware of these people!"
