"Really great resort. It seems like a state park (which we really prefer) but with some extras, like condos, cottages, a golf course, and some restaurants. This was our go to place for hurricane evacuations, but after this past trip, we'll find another place. The campsites are just too pricey for what they are. As I mentioned, this area, especially the campground is more like a state park, which are usually affordable. The rest of the resort is a nice bonus, but most people camping won't use them. The resort is updating the area, but why charge campers more than you did just a year ago? You didn't upgrade the campground. Charge the condo rentals, golfers, diners, etc. Starting at $70 you can stay at a true RV resort with many more amenities for the campground users. Sad that the price has gotten so high, it's a beautiful place. The park is almost empty every time we've been (maybe due to pricing). The campground has no sewer hook ups, another reason that the price is just too much for what it offers. The sites do have electric both 30 and 50amp, depending on which site and water hook ups. Some of the sites are next to the water and some are pull thrus."

"Repeat guests here, our first in a cabin due to closures. Liked it very well and will return with family to take advantage of full kitchen and both bedrooms. Lake front as great as ever, wildlife and nature vibe always a plus, love screen porches, with rocking chairs! The fishermen were gearing up for a weekend tourney, more boat traffic than usual and interesting. Shout out to Shania, who assisted us on the phone and at check-in. She was genuinely pleasant, very professional, and a welcoming representative for the resort."

"We stayed at campsite #18 in late March 2023. Campsites are spacious but our major complaint is the lake was drained. Apparently they do so every couple years for several weeks to allow for repairs on docks. But there is no notice of this when booking. They do have a pop up on the website saying the resort is closed (permanently?) $70 a night was overpriced for a view like this."

"We had a one night stay in the cabins. Originally planned to stay at the lodge; however, due to renovations and structural issues, we were moved to the cabin. Our cabin was exceptionally clean, warm and comfortable. The WiFi was exceptional too. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. Thank you for a great stay!"
