"Imagine ordering something at 3PM to be picked up..the store doesn’t close until 9PM (at least that’s what the website states) and then BOOM! It’s 7:34 and they’re closed, no answer, unable to leave a voicemail!!! HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!"
"OMG, I went in to get info regarding parts, there was a young guy there (perhaps 23-7 or so). First of all he didn't say hello, 2nd he had his he down texting on his phone. When I got to counter I told him I needed a part etc., he pulled up prices, I asked him about the difference in manufacturers (I wanted the best part fory vehicle). This young man told me "I'm not being bothered with this today" & walked off, which shocked me. However, an older employee came.from somewhere and assisted me. Thank goodness, I was about to take my dollars somewhere else."
"I went to the store today to get my check engine light checked. The guy I spoke to about it said that he has the machine to check it and I could do it myself. So I asked if they still check em? He said they do, but he was busy. I was fuming after his response cause that’s not how you speak to a customer. I didn’t curse at him, even though I wanted to, cause I had too many other things on my mind. A customer said that they would assist me since he was doing too much. The guy working there said that he would go ahead and help me check my car and that he was going to teach me how to do it so that way, next time, I could do it myself. Again, it took everything in me not to curse him out. His woke demeanor was out of pocket, ignorant, and unacceptable. If you’re overworked, don’t take your frustrations out on a customer. He should be fired so that way he doesn’t have to be busy any more"
"I was in a bind and needed a part close to 8pm last evening. After searching multiple locations, from multiple retailers, this O’Rielly’s location had a comparable part available. While the part was from a less trusted brand and listed at almost twice the price I found at an online retailer, this store had it on-hand and I could pick it up to fix my car before work in the morning. After a little self-debate, I bit the bullet and ordered online, making sure to select the pick-up option. O’Rielly’s corporate website stated they were open until 10p, so I had almost a full two hours to get there. I mapped the distance with Google maps, confirmed I’d arrive before they closed and timed my departure to allow for the hour required to prep my order. To my surprise, when I arrived at the store around 9:25pm, the store was not only closed with the security doors pulled down, but there was no one in the lot and no one answered the phone. I then tried to call corporate to see what happened and if I could find a different store in the city with the part, but apparently they shut off the corporate phone lines at 5pm despite their stores still being open. Same went for their online chat option - not available after 8:00 p.m. CT. Additionally, when I went to try and cancel my pickup order before it was processed, there was no way to do so online. I assume I’ll have to call tomorrow when they open, (assuming it’s at 7am central time like their website says) and see if they’ll deliver to my home since I used the favor I was owed to borrow a car and drive to them for no reason or wait days for them to return my money. As if all that wasn’t disappointing enough, when I was looking for the store’s phone numbers on Google Maps, I noticed they had just updated their hours just last week. You’d think a brick-n-mortar store that depends on foot traffic would ensure their business hours were listed correctly - if not on their own corporate website, at least within the posting they just updated days prior. Why one star? - Distant locations, unpredictable store hours, mismatched customer service hours, sparse product selection, high prices, discount branding, lack of self-service options…all realized in one visit. UPDATE: I actually went back to the store the following afternoon. Upon arrival, my order still was not ready to be picked up. Not only that, but an item from my order was NOT available for pickup like their online system claimed. All in all, a complete waste of time."
"I ordered my item online, receive my confirmation email which stated payment recieved, order being processed and wait to be contacted with next step. I was supposed to be able to pickup the item in one hour. After 2 hours had passed I called the store and spoke the Ms Linda a very nice and helpful sale clerk. After searching and polling me for details concerning my order she was locate the item and told me that I could come on in to pick it up. Ms Linda was thought enough to let me know that the store hours changed and they would closing at 8 PM. Upon arrival Ms Linda had my item pulled and setting the counter waiting. She explained my warranty and everything. She made my experience very easy and pleasant. THANK YOU Ms Linda"
