"Took the grands to the playground area and they really had a ball. I like the fact that there are two different gym apparatus for toddlers and then those a little older. However, as usual humans ruin everything. Someone came there with a dog allowing the dog to walk through the playground area and relieve themselves in the mulch that was down there to protect the children. There is a dog park in the area so there was no need to bring the animal in the playground area where kids are. Additionally, they themselves went down a slide and they were at least 200 lb. The slide shook as if it was going to break and after that we left. I know this is not the park and recreation fault however, they should at least change the mulch every so often for safety and prevention of communicable diseases when humans don't care or know how to act. Maintenance and sterilization should also be performed. There were huge garden spiders in every corner of the slide and monkey bars. I had to remove them so that my grandkids could play. There was a kid there telling me where all the spider webs were so I could remove them. He was very familiar meaning they had been there at some time. There was also bird poop all around. A good thing is I carry Lysol wipes and Lysol to sanitize myself so that all the kids can enjoy themselves and play without worrying about hazards adults can see and care about."

"This park is very spacious, there are many walking trails & playgrounds for the kiddos! There is a tennis court, basketball courts & also a recreational area for workouts. The Clayton County Police department is also connected to the Rec Center. The library is located within walking distance if you're in need of a book to read! Overall I highly recommend this park as family friendly, clean & safe. I hope you enjoy this park as much as I do!"
