"Absolutely love my hair cut from this salon! It's adorable inside. You could spend all day in there :) Support local ! For a shampoo, cut, and style it was $55 which is about what you'd pay at a chain salon. Highly recommend !"
"I don’t recall the stylist name, she was very professional, personal and proficient in her trade. I’ll definitely return and so should you, but only if you tip well."
"My 18 year old daughter went to get her hair done. She picked the color that was the closest to what she wanted was a red color. The lady who did her hair showed her another color and told she was gone to mix them. My daughter thinking she knew what she was doing and thinking the lady was gone to make it closer to the color didn’t say anything. Her hair is almost black. When I called in about the PROBLEM I was told she picked the color out. No I’m sorry we will fix it or anything just blamed my child all the way around. She paid 300$ for something she did not want. My daughter left in tears and no she did not say anything to the lady because she has a heart of gold and doesn’t ever say or do anything to hurt someone feelings. The price was Ridiculous we are in fairmont not in Hollywood. I do not recommend this place at all. Any other hairstylist would apologize and have the person come back in to fix it"
"I will never go back. Prices are insane and quality does not match. Paid over $500 (including tip) for splotchy color. Went from blonde to balayage/brunette. Prior to my appt I told them what I wanted for my hair and I was told balayage is what was suggested- no prices told. When I got there they do a “consultation” where they go over prices with you- I was quoted $350 at the start of my appt. Which I thought was insane but I had already arranged childcare for my 3 kids and had driven 30+ min to the salon so I went with it. I asked why it was so high- I was told because I had so much hair and because of the quality of product. Then she colored my hair, as we progressed we ended up changing the plan a little bit and going for more of a brunette look. My hairstylist was very kind- she recommended buying their shampoo/conditioner, I told her I would since all I had was blonde shampoo at home. At the end of the appt, another stylist took over and began blowdrying/styling. This same stylist (NOT the one who the appt began with) is who checked me out. They had the product waiting for me in a bag (Kevin Murphy shampoo and conditioner). They told me my total- $475. I about died. I thought maybe the price increase was due to us changing the plan after the appt began so I quickly paid and left and called my husband in absolute shock at the price I just had to pay. When I got home, I checked the price of the shampoo and conditioner- 8.4 fl oz bottles. THIRTY DOLLARS PER BOTTLE. I paid $60 in product! This helped explain the giant jump in cost, so I called the next day and asked to return the product. Completely unopened, didn’t even leave my car. I was told that I was not allowed to return it due to covid. Keep in mind, this salon does NOT require masks- so covid is a poor excuse for not accepting returns. After speaking with the owner, she said she hoped I would come back and was shocked when I told her that my experience would keep me from recommending their business to others. To quote her, “you mean because I care about the safety of my customers you wouldn’t refer us?” … the safety of their customers, yet does not require masks during a pandemic, but cannot accept unopened product to return. I always hope for locally owned businesses to succeed- especially women owned, but this salon lost a customer who would have been a returning one."
"Was not happy with my coloring, it turned out exactly what I told them I didn’t want. When I was hoping they would fix it, I got gained up on and was told I couldn’t achieve what I wanted in one setting. I said that would’ve been nice to know before hand since this is what I told them I didn’t want. Big waste of money, very poor customer service. I will not return and will inform others looking for hair coloring to go someplace that cares about the customers satisfaction."
