"PLEASS GO HERE!!!! I have had the oxtails, goat curry, and the jerk chicken everything has always been absolutely delicious!! Recently they’ve been having brunch every other Sunday where they feature a special menu. My boyfriend and I always count the days until we can have their brunch again. We both HIGHLY recommend the oxtails and grits and the jerk wings with a waffle. The people here are so kind and you can clearly see their passion. The food is made with love and is highly authentic. THIS PLACE IS A MUST GO!"

"At Karubees , my boyfriend and I were greeted by the owners Wife , who was extremely nice and helpful. She allowed me to try the goat meat because I was unfamiliar with the dish. "Yes! The food was amazing! Being a vegetarian, it can be hard to get a nice meal out that’s not a salad and this place met my need for a hot plate of deliciousness. The collards were the best I’ve had outside of my own. That cabbage and rice with a little spicy kick, just too good. I love me some plantains and Karubees hit the spot with them. It’s real home cooked food here. If you’ve been thinking about trying this place just go now. Your taste buds will thank you later."

"This place is such a gem. The best Jamaican food I've had in a restaurant in the United States (yes - even better than New York and the greater Miami area). If you're not lucky enough to have a Jamaican family, this is as good as it gets outside the island. They have so many great menu options. The proprietor is Jamaican so you know the spices will be just right. And there are plenty of Jamaican drinks to wash it down with. I ordered the jerk chicken and oxtails with a side of rice and peas and plantains. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Very decent portions, too. You won't leave hungry but you'll definitely want more. Come for the food, stay for the music and good vibes."
