"My dad & I camped in 1of your tents at Hawks Nest recently. It was the best camping trip ever!!!!!! A big part of that was your employee, Ryan Pratt. He was the nicest, helpful youngan ever!! I worked in customer service alot of yrs, retiring in 2009. I can tell u,I would have hired this young man in a min!!! The way he treats u, interacts with u, & always asking if there is anything we needed or, anything he could help us with just blew my mind. He is a wonderful representive 4 your company. I hate that this is seasonal work & someone may snatch him up during the off period when u r closed. Ya better hold on to this 1 if u can.!!!!.. So glad we came there. He even bought us night crawlers & milk when we ran out. He weed eated so we could have better view of the river.... Awsome young man. Tent was spacious..loved the queen size bed & the potty..so easy to use..."
"Stayed in another tentrr site a short distance from here not this one in particular. Tentrr customer service is trash. The host was nice enough but he is just a contractor with limited means. The sites are crammed on top of each other. If there's other campers don't expect peace and quiet. Whining toddlers, barking dogs.... Yikes. Thin mattresses with slat platforms left us sore, the train kept us sleepless. Better off dispersed camping and bringing your own tent."
"We had a great stay! The spot was exactly as described. The attentive groundskeepers made sure we were comfortable. I loved that we had the whole area to ourselves and the proximity to the water. βI can't wait to go back again!"
"It's a rocky, one-lane drive to get here. But wow is it great. Be careful not to think that you're going to the main overlook when driving here. This area if the state park (aka the Rail Trail) is at water level and does not connect to the main area of the park with the lodge and overlooks. Nonetheless it's a great, private, and serene area if the park to see. Definitely recommend."
"Incredibly gorgeous and secluded. From 9pm until 9am, you are the only inhabitants in this area. These tents had toilets and Tempurpedic mattresses! Located next to running river, these were WELL worth the nightly price."
