Reviews
"Fantastic atmosphere! Great place to have lunch or dinner . Great beer selection with a full bar. Live music sometimes . Sort of a Roadhouse feel Yacht club place. Hard to describe. There's also moonshine distillery in the same parking lot."
"EDIT: After 2 years, decided to make a return visit. Absolutely delicious! The food, the atmosphere, the service were all top notch. 24 local and regional craft beers on tap including brews from Big Timber, Greenbrier Valley, Country Boy Brewing, and Great Lakes. If you ever find yourself on I-77 traveling through Fairplain WV, do yourself a favor and make the exit to find this amazing hidden gem."
"Returned in 2023, still great service and a warm inviting environment. Burgers were good, but we didn't like the appetizers we ordered. Got the Jameson and the Barnyard. The sauce in the Jameson is really good. Got the hot cheese balls since they were noted as a favorite on the menu, they were on the firmer side. Cheese substance was unappealing. Got the onion rings, very lackluster; on the negative side was the tartar sauce, it came out room temperature. 2021 visit review: Got the Bavarian, Going Down in Flames, pickle burger, onion rings, fries, and two kid meals. Burgers were flavorful and cooked exactly as requested. Disappointed the Going Down in Flames used pickled jalapeño slices. The Bavarian is exceptionally well salted, too much for me, but I am guessing the amount used is good with a majority of people. The pickle burger, while unique, didn’t particularly standout in any manner. Great service, inviting dining environment, and clean restaurant. The prices were on the high side compared to similar establishments in greater WV, PA, and MD area (cost and quality) else I would give this place a higher rating."
"The food was absolutely amazing. Our surfer was fantastic. The atmosphere seem like it would be a great place to be for a good night out. What really got me was the Arnold Palmer's. I could have drowned myself in them. I don't know what sweet tea and lemonade brands they use but they have it nailed!"
"Do they call it a yacht club because there's a boat in the dining room? Had my first deep fried pickles but I'm not fan. They have a decent craft beer selection. My salad was huge. The service was good. We all thought the lighting was strange but I've seen the same thing in other places but I'd go back if I lived in the area."
