Dodd’s Log Cabin Grill

"Driving to North Bend State Park on Thursday, I stopped at Dodd's Log Cabin Grill in Ellenboro, WV for lunch. I also made it a point this morning while driving home, to stop here for breakfast. Both meals were delicious and cooked to order. For breakfast, I had the skillet, which consisted of biscuits on the bottom, a layer of bacon and sausages on that, with home fries, cheese and eggs on top. Very tasty but so filling, I could only eat half! A choice of toast or a biscuit came with it. I opted for the biscuit, which was light and fluffy, and about twice the size of biscuits at fast food places. The restaurant is clean and homey with friendly, efficient service. Many regulars were there both times. Next time I'm in the area, I will be sure to stop at Dodd's Log Cabin Grill!"

"Friendly fast service. In our party we had 2 adults and 3 children, our food came out in a timely manner and it was all delicious. We stopped there in our travels back home to New Jersey, we were coming from our vacation from Ohio."

"This is my first time at this restaurant as I was passing by. At first I was leary due to the downtown looking run down in a sense. Though this restaurant gives you a cozy feeling with the decor. The restaurant was neat and clean inside. As for the food it’s all homemade. I ordered the Double Cheeseburger which is made with fresh beef patty. For my family member they ordered the Saturday special “Meatloaf”. The food was fantastic and so was the service."

"A nice little restaurant. Very friendly staff and a decent selection on the menu. I like some good comfort food and this place has exactly that. I ordered the roast beef boat and it was phenomenal!! Being from Texas, I eat my fair share of gravy and their brown gravy was delicious!! Im only in town for 2 days but I will be going back for dinner tomorrow also!!"

"Stoped in on our way through and boy was it good food and good prices! My husband and I both got hamburgers and they were the best we’ve had in a long time. It was getting pretty packed when we were finishing up around 5pm. Every table was full. The pictures are from when we got there around 4:30."
