"We lucked up on this swing spot by chance. Did a road trip to West Virginia and I didn't think we would pass any swing locations. Boy was I happy to see this one and the location was beautiful. It was the day following a snow storm and around sunset which added to the beauty for me. It's at the meeting point of New River and Bluestone National River to make Bluestone Lake."

We continued to Coppers Rock, and many others, about 10 locations in all. What a beautiful fall time trip, allowing the swings to guide our travels to picturesque valleys and mountains. Breathtaking views, waterfalls and lakeside scenery to deep valleys robed with fall colors. Children from local West Virginia high schools built the swings, industrial size, heavy, handmade craftsmanship, leaving a legacy for the future of their state. Highly recommend visiting during the week days, weekends can get crowded and harder to get that perfect shot!"
