About the Business
New River ATV offers exciting ATV and Side by Side tours in West Virginia, featuring brand new Yamaha Kodiak ATVs and Yamaha Wolverine X4 Side by Sides. Our machines are 2021 or newer, meticulously maintained, and equipped with features like electronic power steering and selectable 4WD for a thrilling off-road experience. We no longer require a rental deposit, but a credit card is needed in case of damages.
Drivers must be 25 with a valid US driver's license, while passengers must be 8 with a parent or guardian present. We provide helmets, but you can also bring your own full-faced, DOT-approved helmet. Closed toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty are recommended.
Before your trip, plan to spend time at our facility for paperwork and orientation with your guide. After your trip, enjoy a cold beverage with our friendly staff. Bring sunglasses, gloves, and any necessary medical items. Cameras and cell phones are allowed at your own risk due to mud and water on the trails.

"This was a great experience! Absolutely beautiful riding in the woods at the peak of leaves changing. Emma D. was our guide and was outstanding!! She knew all the great overlooks and photo ops & took our pics so we could both be in the same picture. Using the 4-wheeler was so easy but def plan on getting muddy & wet. Ladies you might want to wear a sports bra because of all the bumps. This was really a great experience and HIGHLY recommend!"
"Emma and Jacob were great guides with Emma leading our pack of seven and Jacob bringing up the rear. Plenty of rain the day before and day of to make for some serious mud pits. Our guides were clear with all the details we would need to have a great ride. I have already recommended this place to at least three people just since our 3-hr trail ride on September 9th, a few days ago. Only tip -> bring the right footwear! Something you don't mind getting soaked. Thanks to everyone at New River ATV for sharing their new pup and their two cats!"
