"Beautiful trails, worth the hike! Be careful on Castle Rock, its dangerous."
"New River Gorge National Park has so many magnificent views, every time you thought it couldn't get better it does. Grandview is a special overlook and shows the uniqueness of what it has to offer. We were surprised by the size of the facility being so small, but soon rewarded with magnificent views. This facility was clean, organized and well cared for. Grounds were well maintained, grasses cut and no trash to be seen, restrooms were clean and well maintained as well, job well done. Staff was well informed, took the time with you to answer all questions and courteous as well. We were very pleased of our time at New River and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, there was so much that we didn't see and do so we expect to be back in the near future."
"Small but helpful visitor center situated in the middle of some beautiful overlooks and trails. The staff are friendly and informative. There are several facilities around the area, restrooms, picnic areas, playground, basketball court, and some others. It's a very clean and serene patch of land."
"This is a small but excellent visitor center with friendly and helpful staff. The panoramic view of the gorge is spectacular. Several trailheads take off from this location and provide hiking for all skill levels. This is a must see stop for visitors to the New River Gorge National Park!"
"Another long drive off the beaten path to reach the Grandview Visitors center but worth the while. The facility was small but nice and the staff friendly. Grandview itself is a nice area. We arrived late in the day but glad we made it the overlook was just a short hike from the parking lot and offered magnificent views The park and facilities were well maintained and clean."
