Reviews
"While the food and atmosphere are solid the service and organization is terrible. If you go on a Friday or Saturday have fun eating 1-2 hours. The worst part is groups that arrived after you will be sat faster. 2 person groups are ignored while groups of 8-10 have priority. The entire experience is very slow which does not work well with the high popularity of the place. Can’t recommend suffering 2 hours wait for seats + 1 hour for food + 30 minutes for your check. Very sad experiance for all I’ve heard of the place."
"My wife and I had been given rave reviews from coworkers who ate here when they traveled to the area on business. They kept imploring us to eat there. I'm gad they did. It was the best Italian we have ever had. Full-stop. Period. We've eaten at top rated Italian restaurants throughout the country including Little Italy. Don't think twice about it. The food is wonderful."
"Very delightful and authentic Italian food... enjoyed everything there! Even the piano player"
"Only have 1 problem with this place but doesn’t warrant changing lesser rating. But the only issue is that the tables are super close together and we had a loud over bearing gentleman that set next to us most of the time. But the food and service was amazing"
"Brought my mom here today for her birthday. The location is easy enough to find. The parking is very limited around the restaurant, but we managed to find an open spot as soon as we got there. The outside looks nice and well maintained. The restaurant itself is not very big, and seating is limited. The waiting area is small. We were seated shortly, and the decor seemed a bit outdated and worn, but pleasant enough. The lighting is dim, and my only real complaint was that the ceiling fans were at full speed and could not be individually adjusted. We ordered the fresh mozzarella and tomatoes as well as the sautéed mushrooms with Italian sausage for appetizers. Both were very delicious, and the fresh basket of bread complimented them. For the main course, I ordered the whole wheat ravioli with meat sauce. My dad ordered the house spaghetti ala carte, and my mom had the bone-in veal with angel hair pasta and a side salad. All three of us enjoyed our entrees (even my dad, who is very picky). For dessert, we split an order of Tiramisu. At first, it tasted kind of strong, but the more we ate it, the better it tasted. It just takes some getting used to. Overall, my mom enjoyed her birthday dinner, and Rocco even played Happy Birthday for my mom on his saxophone. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The owner came to check on our table later into our visit and took time to talk with my mom. Overall, I do recommend giving this establishment a visit. The food is freshly prepared and made in-house, from the appetizers to the desserts. Locally owned and family operated!"
