U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer

"We got charged a $25 cleaning fee when the truck was clean. We have never had another u haul dealer do this to us, but I see online it happens. I know now to take pictures because some dealers are unethical. I hope thé $25 they got was worth the bad review. We will never use them again. PS. Our local u haul in Columbia MD is fantastic, in fact, ai think I will go leave them a good review."

"A family member rented a truck from another location. Check engine light came on not even half way through our trip. Called and was told that happens a lot with the old machines. Managed to make it to the Berkeley Springs drop off location and it was closed, at 3:45 on a Sat, and no instructions on what to do. The drop off "parking lot" is small and the office isn't even a Uhaul one, it's attached to an ACE, across a pond, in another parking lot. If I ever have to move, I def will not use Uhaul. This was a mess."

"Had a UHaul scheduled for June 5th at 10:15AM. Received a phone call earlier from UHaul stating they were supposed to send instructions on how to pick up the truck, but they never did. Called them the morning of repeatedly for instructions but they never answered. 2 hours later, we got in contact with the people at ACE Farm and Home Center in charge of the UHaul trucks. They said the rental we were supposed to have had a broken right mirror. Had to wait for a new truck reservation and left 2 hours late to get to our destination. The ACE Farm and Home Center employee that helped us get a new UHaul was wonderful, but we were never able to get in contact with UHaul themselves."
