"This was not our first time trying shawarma. This is definitely a good version. Everyone in our family loved it. For me personally it was a bit over-salted. I would also add some fresh red cabbage, or other fresh veggies. The bread/tortilla/wrap was amazing. The French fries I would not recommend. There is no place to eat, but you can grab some authentic middle Eastern spices, meat, etc in the store. This will definitely be our go to place when we are craving middle Eastern food."
"All cities/regions - if lucky - have their great sandwich. Atlanta had the famous Cool Corners Cuban. NJ has the Taylor Ham bfast sammy or a gloppy Turkey Sloppy Joe. Montreal has the smoked meat reminiscent of Katz's pastrami in NYC. Maine, the buttery lobster on a hot dog bun. Greenville finally has a truly great sandwich and that is the Chicken Shawarma from this place. This is actually a nice Halal Meat/Mid Eastern grocery store and if you need that kind of stuff, their selection is excellent. However at the back left corner is a tiny food prep area where the magic happens. A very healthy amount of chicken is fresh sliced from the vertical grill and put on the flat top to cook up a bit more. Then garlic sauce and pickled vegetables are added and this luscious mound is expertly rolled up in flatbread and put back on the grill top to toast a bit. This is not only by far the best sandwich in Greenville, it is the absolute least expensive (for this immense flavor, quality and quantity) at $8. Eight bucks. Skip the hipster shops selling their overpriced, beard hair-tainted measly sandwich wares. Pita House down the road is fine for similar but THIS is the bite you are looking for. You're welcome."
"Yummy shawarmas here. My husband and I had two chicken shawarmas , one as a combo with fries and one just by itself and the total was around $20 with tax. They’re very filling, yummy, and fresh. There’s also some groceries, from pantry staples to juices, lavash, and baklava. That’s to make a few. There are Turkish foods and teas, and a different variety of sweets and we especially love the tea biscuits we bought today. They’re so fresh and delicious. A definite must visit. Also quick and efficient customer service. We’ll be coming back again. Thank you!"
"The portions are really nice on their shawarmas and all are made to order. They have a buy 10 get one free deal as well for them, if you wanna grab them for the fam. The pickles included in the shawarma are pickled cucumbers and pickled red onions. The bread is nice and flavorful. They lightly toast it before wrapping it up for you. The chicken is juicy and well-seared. They put a generous amount of the garlic mayo, so if that ain't your think, tell em go easy on that. There's no tables or anything, so it's all takeout. This place is located in a grocer, so it's actually pretty nice to order something and shop while you wait for your food. They actually clean up earlier, around 5:30, if customers are slow. Think this is only for Sunday, but still beware if your coming for your fixing."
"Downright disappointing aside from the fact that the falafel balls are fresh there is nothing else notable about this. For $6 menu advertises falafel with all the veggies tomatoes onions et cetera what you get is what you see in the photos. See the size and see the contents inside of it when unwrapped"
