"Update- Returned and tried the Chopped Steak it’s divine, seasoned perfectly nice onion and mushroom gravy with mashed potatoes and a vegetable of your choice. Epicurean Table is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. The menu is a gastronomic delight, offering a range of scrumptious options that cater to diverse tastes. What sets Epicurean Table apart is the impeccable service. LeAsia and the servers are not only attentive but also genuinely kind, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. The highlight of my evening was when the chef came to the table to check on us – a personal touch that truly elevated the experience. Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavors and expertly crafted. The attention to detail in presentation was evident, showcasing the chef's dedication to culinary excellence. I left Epicurean Table with a full stomach and a heart warmed by the delightful experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their mouthwatering offerings. If you're looking for a restaurant that combines exquisite food with exceptional service, Epicurean Table is the place to be. Highly recommended!"
"Okay so I’ve heard mixed reviews but overall it was a pretty good experience. So starting with the bad, our server was definitely meant for another career path. She just wasn’t very attentive and forgot several things. However, all the other servers were super on it and very nice. The good! The decor is very out of character for Hopkins, but you know what!?! It works! The Lo-Fi beats, giant projection screen, and tall super squishy booths really set a chill vibe. The food is damn delicious! Just as good as anything I’ve had in downtown Columbia. My husband got the chopped steak with mashed potatoes and yellow rice. He said it was perfect! His favorite was the Caesar salad, the fried okra/cornbread croutons on top were awesome! My 3 year old and I both go chicken and waffles (they have a kids chicken and waffles as well). And OMg they were delicious! The waffles are made out of cornmeal and had powdered sugar and cinnamon on top and they are a perfect fluffy/crunchy combo. The fried chicken is also perfectly seasoned. My daughter ate an impressive amount of the C+W. I also got a side of Mac and cheese that was perfectly cheesy and creamy. My only food complaint was the chips with the collard green dip. They were lime flavored and the lime just didn’t vibe with the dip flavor. However, the dip was delicious. My suggestion would just be just a normal Mexican restaurant style corn chip. Overall, awesome experience and I’m so glad we have an awesome new locally owned restaurant!"
"The food was delicious. I enjoyed everything I ordered, and as you can see, the steak dinner was devoured. I enjoyed my shrimp and grits, and the French fries are excellent. You may pay a few extra dollars for your meal, but the convenience of having a sit down restaurant five minutes from home makes up for the time and gas money you'd spend driving across town. I'd recommend giving them a try. We have to support our local businesses!"
"Ate dinner at Epicurean Table about 3 weeks ago. Corn Ribs and Salmon Bites for appetizers were great! Fried Flounder was delicious, seasoned very well. Our waitress was Nae and she was AWESOME!!!"
"Decided to try the Epicurean Table for lunch with a friend. When we arrived, there were only about 2 other groups inside. However, once we were seated, there was a constant flow of guests. Many were doing pickup orders, but several did stay for dining in. We tried the collards dip for our appetizer. It was delicious! The dip was served with light and crispy tortilla chips, which seemed to be freshly made. My entree was the Epicurean Burger with a side of sweet potato fries. The burger was very flavorful (anymore, and it would have been too much) and topped with grilled onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, and cheese. The fries had just the right amount of sweetness. My friend has the Chicken Philly and fried broccoli. The chicken was seasoned well and had a nice grilled taste. The broccoli was excellent as well. We ended with the key lime ice cream sandwich for dessert. Sorry, I started eating right away that I forgot to get a picture before cutting the burger in half."
