"Been here a few times and always leave happy and feeling like I got what I paid for and more. When I have time I like to do simple repairs myself. When I don't I like to go to someone with a reputation for trust. I recently had a check engine light come on and wanted to know the cause and possibly fix it myself. Most shops will scan and give you a general diagnosis that may get you in the general area but that's about it. I took my 97 Merc in for a shudder and Ray had no problem running the codes and offering his advice, and it turns out his advice was correct. What looked like a bad EGR was a connector cracked and broken from heat and age. He could have told me to go away for a couple of days and sold me a tune up and a new EGR, but he didn't."
