"I thought I would never find another mechanic I could trust until I met Mike Cheek. He is honestly the only one I will ever take a vehicle to. I've pulled up unannounced several times, with a motor running hot, for example. He has always stopped what he is doing to take a look at it. This happened (again) earlier this week, and he spent about 30 minutes with me. He hooked it up to his computer and wrote down all of the error codes, explained what they meant and how I could fix them myself. While many would say "leave it with me and I will call you when it's finished," and likely overcharge for whatever they do... Mike cleared the old error codes to isolate the issues. He also checked the battery and alternator and found the battery had a dead cell, then found a faulty sensor to be the main problem. I'm not saying to expect freebies, but the man has integrity and does good work. He worked on my mother's cars a few times as well, always doing a stellar job. I have been burned by so many mechanics in the past that it takes a lot to gain my trust, and even more for me to write a review. Hope this helps someone out... there is at least one fair, HONEST, and flat out nice mechanic left in Anderson... check him out!"
