"Bought a lift chair 6 years ago. Worked fine for a year...then stopped. Called company, they had a part sent. Told us to change it out. If no result, call them. No result, we called. They ordered the touch pad. Called us to pick it up. If this didn’t work, they would schedule a service call, but we would be charged. Replaced it with new one...no result. Called today to see what could be done and, bottom line...company that makes the chairs has gone out of business and there is nothing they can do. I asked for someone to come out and check it out and was told BY THE OWNER that they would charge $100 just for them to look at it. I understand the company is out of business, but the “shrug of the shoulder - not my problem” attitude was offensive and unprofessional. As expensive as medical equipment is, this is an unacceptable response to me. If you’re looking for a company to take care of the customer - this one is not it! We will not recommend them to anyone based on the lack of service we received, not only today, but the 6 years since we purchased a defective product."
