"New patient with neck and back pain. Went because they could see me quickly. Got 2 prescriptions and followed instructions. A week later get an online follow up survey and I advise the doctor that there is no improvement. A MONTH later I get a text saying I've been referred for an x-ray. No call. No reasoning. No discussion of treatment plan. A few hours later get a call from their office. I ask the caller why all of a sudden this was the course of action. She has no idea. Second person gets on the phone and tells me even less but is rude. Waste of time and money. Added frustration to pain with blatant incompetence. They got my $200, hope this saves someone else"

"I went to this doctor searching for a new primary doctor. I went for a yearly checkup and to discuss concerns I had regarding my mental health. This doctor agreed to run a full panel of bloodwork to look at my hormone levels and then only requested and sent off for thyroid. He never touched my concern about possible PPD or other mental health issues. He only cared that I am overweight. And made only assumptions on that as well. Never asked what I am currently doing for that and I have already taken action towards that and am working with a personal trainer. This doctor made assumptions based on my physical appearance and turned my ckncern for my mental health into a weightloss consultation. That was not needed or asked for. So if you are looking for an attentive doctor that will handle your concerns with empathy and a with the intentions of helping you, you are looking in the wrong direction. TERRIBLE doctor His staff is amazing though and makes everyone feel comfortable. They really went above and beyond."

"I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL! Everytime I have brought my baby for a sick visit they never have done anything to test or find a reason for why he was sick. 2 days ago I took him for a sick visit and all they did was use the stethoscope and listen to him breathe and told me they heard congestion. That he more than likely has a bad cold and was sending me out the door. I asked them about the flu and RSV because it is going around like crazy and they just told me the signs. Took him to urgent care today because he wouldn’t sleep good last night woke up this morning with a horrible cough, pouring snot and ill. I could tell he was miserable. Told the urgent care the same stuff the tested him for the Flu & RSV and RSV came out positive! Dr Byrd’s office does not care about your children I assure you they will not listen to your concerns! Do not take your babies here!!!!"

"I have lived in many places so I never had a permanent Dr. I have now settled down in the Reidville area and recenly retired. I started looking for a Primary physician 2 years ago. I knew Dr Byrds office was in Reidville but I just overlooked it because of its size. It was a mistake on my part. Dr Byrd is so easy to talk to. He sits and listens to my problem and we discuss options. He's very informative and gives me choices. I am so glad I have found him. My whole family uses him and his wife now. We are quite pleased. I'd give him 10 stars if I could."
