"Before my first visit, through messaging, I explained that I was looking for a new therapist because I was new to the area. I wasn't sure on what type of massage I was used to recieving previously. So I explained that I was looking for something more then a soft therapy but knew a deep tissue massage wasn't necessary either. That's when she said I was probably looking for a theraputic level expeirence, which was a more medium level of pressure. I was very pleased to have placed my specific massage category and even more pleased that the pricing was so reasonable, especially when compared to the other levels of treatments that are availble. Now, I was nervous starting out with a new massage therapist, but that quickly changed once I walked in the door. The atmosphere when I walked in was very soothing and comfortable. Then Ashley took the time at the beginning of our first session to address my concerns, noted my physical issues, and addressed me in a way that was professional but also friendly. The therapy room was clean, nicely relaxing, the bed was heated comfortably, the draping had a nice weight to it and I never felt "exposed" durring the massage. Honestly, the massage was truly an experience I didn't want to end. Ashley is a therapist who is through and considerate in her pressure and technique. She wasn't one to jabber the whole time but talked to me just enough to keep me from not feeling ackward, which for me, I must say is a feat for because I've had a difficult time in the past finding a therapist with a happy-medium talking to quite ratio so I feel comfortable and she nailed it. At the end of my therapy, she took the time for some specific extra stretching of my neck that ment the world to me, since that's a troubled zone of my anatomy. Then after I dressed and paid for my visit, I booked my next session because I had found a great therapist in a great location, with a superb atmosphere and great cost ratio to services rendered. To top it all off, as I was leaving, I was even offered a nice complimentary keepsake because of the holiday season. Ultimatly, I recommend Ashley at Relax and Renew, and will continue attending for her great therapeutic massages.
