"I have never posted a public bad review, but I highly do not recommend this office. I was a new patient from out of state. Not only was the office dirty, it does not comply with simple health codes. For example, the urine sample is done in a plastic dixie cup and your name is to be written by yourself with a sharpie market on it. Not only was I called by the complete wrong name twice in person (They called me Stephanie- my name is AnnMarie), but also called the wrong name over message through myChart by MA Lisa K. All I needed was to stay on the same birth control as my old dr's office out of state. After the Dr. agreed with keeping everything the same, I was prescribed both a different prescription name and a different prescription type all together. I am originally on the 3-month birth control pill, and was prescribed a 28 day with a different % amount. I have called for the past week trying to fix this, messaged two different places in mychart as that is what they recommend to get in contact with anyone, and have yet to hear back. I found out that I was prescribed the incorrect birth control by this office/Dr. after going to pick it up at CVS, having to discontinue my other birth control prescription now that I have an in-state doctor and was picking up another, and being handed the incorrect one. I asked CVS if there was a mistake, and they said that was what was sent to them. I trusted that what I was told would be sent would actually be what was sent to CVS, and now I have forfeited my refill from my previous OB of my correct prescription, and returned the incorrect prescription. I have yet to hear back about anything and it is very upsetting. Update day later: I was sent the wrong prescription, again. CVS even tried to call them."
"I have been seeing Dr. Sikes for many years. I think he is a wonderful doctor. He always puts me at ease about any issues I have. Stays on top of my medications and what I should be doing to stay healthy."
"Dr. Sikes is a wonderful doctor! He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He helped me through my whole pregnancy with my 2nd child. Also has helped me alot with some issues after birth. Love Dr. Sikes!"
"Called in February to make an appointment. As a new patient, they couldn't get me in until March 29- Fine. The receptionist was unfocused and struggled to even get my information correctly- I had to correct her multiple times. About a week later I called back because I had found a different doctor that could see me sooner, when I requested to cancel my appointment, I was told I wasn't even in the system or on the books. Fast forward to March 27 when I get a message reminding me that "Family" (Nope, not Emily) has an appointment on the 29th. Not sure I want a group that can't even keep reception organized to be poking around in my reproductive system."
"No bed-side manner; absolutely socially inept. We do not normally see Dr. Sikes, we normally see Dr. Heidtman, who has been fabulous. But for our one appointment Dr. Heidtman was out, and we saw Dr. Sikes instead. Very unfortunate, as this was the one appointment we've gotten bad news at. Dr. Sikes came in the room, didn't look me or my husband in the eye or shake our hands (first time meeting him), and sat with his back to me. He informed us of the bad news with his back to me the entire time, and in a very tactless, unprofessional manner. He hardly explained anything, even when I straight out told him I did not understand at all what was going on. He then walked out of the room without even saying goodbye or telling us we were done. My husband literally called after him "Are we done here??" He then went back in after I left the appointment in tears over the bad news and awful doctor experience to try to get Dr. Sikes to explain anything of what was going on. If you want a doctor who is professional and has any tact and decency, do not see Dr. Sikes!"
