"I have been trying for Days to reach the Bamberg Co. SC Weatherization Program Maurice Pieters office to apply for emergency help. All I ever get is a busy signal or" the mailbox is full and cannot accept messages"! I am a disabled Senior female Low-income in need of help. My hot water heater has gone. I have TRYED called other counties for help but am told "I don't know how to help you,you aren't in my county "? There is no Answer at the Bamberg Co. Office either ,just rings and Rings This is abuse of the elderly in my opinion. There is no PERSON in DSS to actually Talk to to get help,not LIHEAP ,NOT WEATHETASATION PROGRAM NOTHING. I am more that poverty struck to qualify for HELP in this State yet No one Knows or seems to care when I explain my need/emergency SC is the hardest state I've ever heard of to get help for the Elderly . I'm ready just to give up.is is not Living ."
