"Disappointing visit. I’ve lived in SC for a while now and have bought THC products from smoke shops at the ages of 18 and 19. I was turned away because I apparently had to be 21 to buy any form of THC when I have bought THC products at countless smoke shops in SC (where almost all of them even checked my ID and saw that I was 18/19 and let me purchase). I don’t understand how the rest of the state allows 18+ to buy while Hilton Head doesn’t. I was very excited to get some product on my vacation but left empty handed. At least publicize that your rules are different from the law, as people like me had no idea that in HH you had to be 21+. Will save you a lot of disappointed customers. Very nice and helpful workers, but it’s confusing as to why your age limit is inconsistent with the rest of the state."
