Total Wine & More

"Called before driving 35min, I’ve had great experiences with other Total Wine locations before, I mean I’m used to them being over the top incredible…. The woman on the phone told me there was 5 cases in stock and I shouldn’t have an issue driving over within that short amount of time. I arrive and start browsing. I love Total Wine for their wide selection, their prices, and usually their staff is phenomenal. I was surprised that after I was about to give up on my search, a woman offered to help me. She was positive what I came for would be stocked in the back. I waited almost 10min. She came back and said sorry we don’t have it… I told her I called and now I’m confused. I said there’s only one spot I haven’t checked and asked if it is possible it’s up front? The overall customer service was poor and I felt like I was being treated oddly. She found it in the locked case upfront and escorted me to the register. She seemed annoyed but I thanked her and she went on to assist someone else. Awesome. Then, the cashier was trying to force the bottle out of the box… after a few attempts and me worried about the box breaking (it’s an expensive gift I wanted to keep nice), I told her to scan the bottom. Sorry for the long novel, but I think I’ll stick to the Mount Pleasant locations. They’re drastically different."

"Great prices and selection. I am always able to find what I need, but anytime I do find what I need, it is low in availability. The staff was unwelcoming like they didn't want to be there. The cashier I had was worse than the staff. This was not a pleasant experience. I will continue to shop here because yall have the best prices and selection. I hope this experience does not happen again in the future."

"Great store! The one young guy must've have been new because I asked about an ipa, he searched and said we don't have that brand. I said yes you have I was just looking, I'm trying to see if you have a specific kind. System said you guys had 2 of them, but he could not find it. I ended up finding it 10 minutes later. Cashier was 2/5, but store has such a variety I have to come back whether the employees are friendly or not."

Huge selection of wine and spirits, craft beer, large walk in cigar humidor and an incredibly professional and knowledgeable staff. Very competitive prices and attractive volume discounts.
