"I have heard this store has some allocated products and I called to confirm before driving from NC. I have no issues paying double or even triple msrp to get hard to find bottles, However, the lady that answered was not willing to talk business and tell me how much not even 1 specific bottle costs. Sounds like shady business practice to me."

"I see alot of bad reviews about this place. But this place is the cheapest place in town to buy all kinds of liquor and beer and other things. And smoking things. Good look Its is packed in here, price are good. 10.00 for a cheap bottle of vodka but it 1.75 big one, if u use it for mixing drinks y not. , most of the liquor is 10.00 cheaper then anyone else, and we have been everywhere n town Place was clean Employees was all nice and its Family member only who work there"

"prices are not very competitive. as a bourbon connoisseur, i too have noticed discrepancies in pricing with relatively easy-to-procure brands/batches. on more than one occasion, they tried to get over on me either by not honoring listed sale price or by charging me for a more expensive blend. all this aside, they do have a reasonable selection of spirits."

While we may still disagree on a couple prices, overall this shop offers a wide selection for fair prices. More importantly, I was impressed with his desire to have the dialogue and build a long term customer relationship and experience. I’ve bumped up this review accordingly. ORIGINAL: I’m an avid bourbon hunter and my travel allows me to cover most of the southeast. I live nearby this shop and overall agree w the reviews left by Brandon. I understand buyer frustration w the Buffalo Trace products, but that’s par for the course at most shops; however there are exorbitant markups on not that hard to find products as well. Curious who are paying those prices. My advice is likely congruent w the purveyors of this shop: you’ll need to seek out shops and owners that prioritize customers as relationships."
