"Now we have a local antique store of booths. Quite a variety. You just need money. Sometimes there's discounts. I have personally found quite a few Victorian Eastlake things, some mid-century vintage, and also lamps. One lamp was made in 1881. Even some colonial antiques but pricey as expected. I always feel like a kid in a candy store there. I do like antiques, so this is one of my spots."

"Be wary of buying vintage unopened records here. We bought one last week from the 70s “never opened” but when we opened it it had been taped shut and there was a giant scratch on it as well as some other drops and things. They said the only thing they could do was exchange it as they had another one… which if it was so expensive and rare I should’ve known something was wrong. My husband bought this for me as a gift so when he went to exchange the first one he trusted that what they were giving him was the same, but instead they gave him a record that was pressed in 2012…. He didn’t notice this until gettin home. This was not a cheap purchase and is for sale on Amazon for $23 but we paid $85!!! Because we thought we were getting something special. We were not and unfortunately this doesn’t really make me want to shop there ever again."

"I have an issue with one of the moving people that Tapley's recommended to me. Troy was hired to move me from Hilton Head to Savannah in, what I considered to be, a very small endeavor. He damaged a newly refinished piece of furniture - one that wasn't heavy at all to lift. When approached by us about this fact, he became angry and abusive, and ultimately, would not return our calls. (Did I tell you he charged a premium price to move me?) We then approached one of the sales clerks at Tapley's. She appeared to us unsympathetic, saying that all moves involve some damage or other. So much for using what we thought was a reputable outfit to recommend a mover to us."

"Every time I come to Savannah my wife makes me take her here. The people who own the store are really great. What they offer is quite incredible. I added photos of the things I cared about but there's a great variety of antique and vintage, beautiful furniture, rugs, collectibles etc. Definitely an excellent place to go if you collect."
