"I was visiting an elderly family member. I couldn’t find visitor parking anywhere. Lucky my car didn’t get towed, if I were a minute late that could’ve been the case. I saw a tow truck driver searching the lot looking for prospects. I’ve seen on the reviews where people got their car impounded I feel sorry for them. I think it’s all a money scheme, and it is. This place has pending judgements against them for that. Please Please make more visitor parking available. All guest need a visitors pass and y’all will still have available parking. Y’all have plenty of parking spaces quit being money hungry. $1,400 a month for rent is a lot already."

"I currently live here but I know how important reviews can be for those who are looking for place to live. I will say that I have had a pretty good experience so far. I did unfortunately get my car towed once, so they definitely don’t play about that. Apartments are nicely sized, some things can be updated but nothing major. Well lit parking lot, and the area itself is taken care of, they have people come and cut the grass and blow leaves so that's nice. Isaiah is super nice, answers your questions on a timely fashion and made the application process very easy. Neighbors are nice, very kid friendly area. I will update at the end of my lease :)"

"I’ve lived at Oakbrook Village for 10+ years and I cannot say enough about the care they have for their residents. The responsive maintenance team is second to none. I’ve lived in different apartment complexes in my lifetime and this one is top notch no doubt. I was so happy when they started with resident parking passes. There’s no inconvenience at all as there are plenty guest parking spots. There is nothing worse than coming home late after a long days work, groceries and kids in tow and not being able to park close by. This has now been taken care of and it’s SO much better for us residents who pay rent to live here. We had to move out due to relocation for job purposes but we’ll never find a better place than Oakbrook Village. Make no mistake this is where you want to call home!"

"Overall enjoyed my time at Oakbrook Village. It was quiet, Christy in the office was helpful and friendly, and the apartment itself was worth the price, but my car was broken into and the office did not do one thing to help. Maintenance was timely but only seemed to do "quick fixes" my dishwasher had issues for my entire stay but was never replaced or fixed with quality. There were some unwarranted silverfish here and there but I wouldn't say I had a big problem with them. UPDATE: After moving out of the complex and having proof (video evidence, I took some screenshots of my videos to help prove my point) of leaving my apartment in near perfect condition, I received a bill in the mail of almost $250 in charges. My base rent was $845 while living at Oakbrook and I never paid more than $881 on any given payment for water+sewer+trash. Somehow after having already moved out of my apartment for the last month of my lease I accumulated $187 worth of usage. So on average a $40 bill has more than quadrupled. The other portion of this bill was $45 for carpet cleaning. But I didnt leave as much as a stain on their carpet and followed all instructions upon move out. Clearly this complex will let you in without a deposit, if you're approved, and then attempt to empty your pockets after you've left. Like I said before, Christy is great. The other property managers, including the one I tried to resolve this issue with, not so much."
