"Love this place very quite area and staff are always willing to help.and are great with fixing things in the apartment huge shout out to misty and Pam for helping me get my renovated apartment. Y’all are great!"
"To be honest. There's too many things that I dislike about this apartment complex to even begin. -they have quarterly inspections of the apartment. 1yr lease = 4 inspections - if you have family members that like to visit with their pets you can't do that here. - reptiles, amphibians, and literally any type of "pet" are also not allowed. So this community is not reptile friendly. There are some good things about this apartment complex but seeing as I'm ending my lease just 2 months in says a lot. Going back to Howell Commons where I should've stayed. At least there I have the freedom to invite family over to walk our dogs together and hang out. This apartment complex was not made or managed with their tenants in mind."
"I just moved back to Haywood Pointe after being gone for 14 years living at Howell Commons. It was the best decision ever. I lived at Haywood Pointe 7 years prior to the 14 at Howell and believe me will not go back to that place. Thanks Pam, Misty and team for being so awesome. So glad to be back home."
"Don't sign a lease at Haywood Point Apartments! I was a tenant for the past 10 years and unfortunately watched the management of this property deteriorate. You would think if your apartment complex has made a decision to upgrade and improve the apartments you, as a long time tenant would be notified and given options to make arrangements for temporary housing in order to maintain the apartment you've come to live in for years, give you options for a similar possibly close in proximity to your current space or just give you a timely period and reasonable opportunity to process the upcoming changes that's about to uproot your life as you know it. I was not offered an option for remodel, as a long term tenant of 10 years in good standing I was extremely disappointed. ; roaches are a constant issue; valet trash pick-up was a rip off as trash was seldom removed as they promised; ceiling leaked especially any rainfall; AC system is an ongoing issue; dog droppings are never cleaned by the pet owners or the property management; the exterior side wall to the building was in severe need of repair for several months; corporate is notorious for not responding or returning phone calls. After 10 years I am homeless, they gave me a 3 month notice to MOVE OUT. Do not sign a lease with them."
"I lived in this community for 2 years and I would like to point out on the positive points first. It is a very quite community and you have Butler Park just walking distance. I never felt unsafe or had any issues with our vehicles. The location is great! Close to the mall and downtown. I had to move out because my apartment was up for renovations, which was very upsetting to me since I was told when I moved in; my apartment was RENOVATED. Once I started living there, I was told that it was considered semi-renovated. DEFINITELY VERY DECEPTIVE! In regards to maintenance, whenever I had an ssue, they always resolved it quickly . UPGRADES: The upgrades that were done on my apartment, were very mediocre. For example, my floors were very unbalanced. They had dips on them and you could feel pieces of cement when you walked on the floor. As time passed by, the dips got deeper and you felt the furniture shaked everytime time you walked. A/C: Another issue were the A/C filters. In 2 years they came only once to changed it and eventually, I changed the filters myself. During the summer months, when it was 100 degrees outside, it was 80 degrees inside. I was told that the A/C could not cool down more than 20 degrees. Finally, once I moved out I got a bill to replace a light bulb and I was invoiced for $3. It seems that they are looking for nickles and dimes. This is the first time that I am charged by any apartment community for such a minor expense such a "light bulb" once I moved out. I would highly recommend if you need to look for an apartment, to look for other options."
