Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs Resort Area

"This hotel is fantastic for the price… until they add on all the extras like resort fee and parking. The majority of it is a glorified motel with the rooms having doors to the parking lot. It’s a days in with a fancy pool (that doesn’t stay open late enough) and a good location within walking distance to Disney springs. This hotel is fantastic just not worth the price most times."

"We stayed for a conference and the conference part was amazing, the location next to Disney Springs was great. We didn't have hot water the entire 4 nights and the hotel was only willing to knock off the resort fee, which as a conference attendee, we really didn't use since the pool closed at 9. Hot water seems like a basic for a hotel room. We would have settled for a couple breakfast tickets on our last day, but they wouldn't budge."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The room was decent, but there were some aspects that left much to be desired. The floors felt sticky, the bed was uncomfortably hard, and the absence of a hair dryer was inconvenient. Additionally, I found the extra charges for amenities to be a bit excessive. One of the notable downsides was the cleanliness of the room, particularly the remote control, which seemed to have accumulated layers of grime. This was quite off-putting. Furthermore, the front desk staff appeared to lack training, which resulted in some confusion during my interactions with them. Despite these drawbacks, there were some positives to highlight. The room itself was adequate, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was pleasant. Additionally, the location was convenient for my needs."

"There's 3 things I do not like about this place, so I'll get them out of the way. 1. The Housekeeping Staff kept knocking on our doors simply to ask if we were checking out. This has never happened to me at any other hotel and it was a bit annoying. 2. They will charge a $35/day resort fee, ON TOP of what you already paid for your daily rate which makes no sense and also was unexpected! And 3. They will charge you to park per day which is terrible to do to your resort guests! (Note: we didn't drive, but this would deter me from staying here if we had to rent a car on a future trip). That all being said, this Hotel was beautiful, relaxing, and just an all around great experience! The pool area was great and clean, pool was warm, bonfire was going at night, Oasis bar staff was outstanding, the rooms were clean, staff was friendly! And you can't beat the 4 minute walk across the street to Disney Springs! If we do another short trip to Disney, like this was, I will absolutely come back!"

"When we first checked into the hotel at 9am, we were hit up to try and sign up for a "timeshare" Disney vacation club and proceeded to badger us even though we politely said no over 5 times and explicitly shared that we wanted to leave to go to the parks. When we came back to the hotel to finish check-in, the employees started to pressure us again. When we finally were able to get into our room, not even 30 minutes had gone by before we realized there were bed bugs on our King bed room. We called down to the front desk about the discovery of bedbugs. They did nothing to accommodate us for discovering beg bugs in our room. We repacked all of our bags and went back down to the front desk. Eventually, they were able to move us rooms but to a double room instead of the King room we originally booked. They then told us we had to wait before someone came to our new room to take a statement which made us forfeit our right to make a formal complaint (at 11pm). Pro: 5 minute walk to Disney Springs. Lowest price hotel I was able to find. It ended up being a Disney Resort hotel so you get 30 minute early park entry and they had free shuttles to each of the parks. They have a mini fridge."
