Reviews
"Unfortunately I was never treated like that. I took 2 beers to the cashier and a guy wearing a cap became upset because I asked about beer prices. Of course I need to know price in order to buy. I told him that will be my last time because of bad treatment and he simply kicked me out of the store because according to him I'm always asking the price. Hope the owner see my review."
"Stay far away from this store, walked in trying to get orange juice out the freezer and the owner was cleaning the shelf. I asked him to hand me one and he snapped. The guy at the register was just the same. I picked up 3 snacks and orange juice and it was about 25 dollars. They are obviously overcharging people on products and it doesn’t help they don’t have prices on items."
"Occasionally shopped here over last 8 years and tonight will be the last time. Employee, or owner not sure, yelled, cussed me out, & then chased me out of the store for entering with a cup of water. Cannot imagine any employee ever speaking to a customer with the degree of poor taste this man showed tonight. I’ve worked next door to you for 8 years."
"This was the closest grocery to our AirBNB. One of my favorite things about Charleston is these corner markets. I bought beer and cheddar cheese popcorn here. It has the essentials."
"Prices aren't terrible, but there is definitely a bit of a price gouge here, above even the listed prices. Many prices aren't listed, and I was charged about 55% more than what the pre-sales tax total would have been according to the posted price for the beer I selected. I asked the cashier/owner about the mark-up but he didn't say anything, pretending he didn't understand what I was talking about. It was late, and I wasn't going to walk a mile to another convenience store, so I paid for the beer, but this is something people should be aware of. Would not recommend if other nearby convenience stores are still open."
