"This place is great. He didn't get any help from the government at all when building this business so he had to haul the building materials through the woods to avoid the government built roads. He doesn't use a cell phone because the government regulates the spectrum. The area it's in is a little dangerous because the government funded police do not protect the place from robbery. One time he had a small fire but, like any real American, he put it out himself without the use of the government funded fire department. He doesn't take advantage of ANY government tax incentives as a small business owner. The building is a little rickety because he doesn't believe in government building codes so, watch out! Place floods occasionally because government employed civil engineers didn't create drainage and sewer system for him. No running water because government funded utilities are for Marxists. Only excepts trade because government built monetary system and regulations are for pansies. Can't count anyway because refused to go to government funded school"
"After reading reviews from 2 years ago I am appalled that people with opposing political views would slander this company. Today my husband went to Gaster Lumber and had an exceptional experience. Not only was he able to obtain the lumber he needed but the price was slightly better than rival big home improvement stores. The customer service was wonderful and we look forward to supporting a local business that is very deserving of a great rating."
"For all you Obamanite sheeple: You recite the liberal hate talking points and do not put forth an original thought, you make reference to the gov't roads, gov't paid fire/police, etc adnausium... where the hell do you think your all mighty and giving gov't, provider for all the minions, got the money that they use to build all those things? From people like Mr. Gaster and ME and maybe you if you're not a ward of the state. Mr. Gaster is only responding to the teleprompter soundbite king who has never built anything or run anything in his life, of any consequence, that we know of (records sealed) yet has the audacity to say that Mr. Gaster didn't risk his money, pay for his business, reinvest in his business and his employees, and probably at sometime did not take a paycheck so that he could pay his employees or bills. He built that business without Obama and Gov't. How do I know? Because I did the same thing in my business and I did build my business and sometime went without pay so that my workers and suppliers were paid. It's called risk and reward, of which the majority of the posters on here problably have never experienced, and that includes the Vacationer in Chief as well. BTW, in case you didn't notice the roads came AFTER Henry Ford built the first car. It's not the gov't who caused all the great things you speak of to come about, it was entreprenuers like Mr. Gaster, that ALLOWS gov't to provide these things. Without business gov't would be broke! Or did you forget, gov't doesn't make anything, produce anything or sell anything, It only takes and takes. Mr. Gaster, I will frequent your business as my needs dictate. WE the business builders of America are behind you!"
"Did you build the road out in front of that business? how about the power lines? or the postal service that allows you to do "mail orders", or the ports which allow you to import goods. or how about the internet that has now given you your 15 minutes of fame. or the emergency services that protect you, or the teachers that taught you how to read, write and do math. or the teacher that taught the guy who made your asinine sign how to make asinine signs. there are at least 20 things in that picture, on your lot, in front of your lot or on your person that you had no part in building, but yet you enjoy those benefits. I avoid businesses like yours like the plague, mostly because of your obvious ignorance. and i would suggest others do the same."
"so I guess Ray has never used a public road to deliver his products to customers. If you had actually taken the time to listen to obama's whole statement instead of Rush or foxnews editing than you might understand what he's talking about. Bill Gates built his billion dollar company but he sure didn't do it alone. Nor has anyone else... try thinking independently instead of being spoon feed sound bites"
