"I was sent to this doctor by Richmond County for a fitness for duty evaluation. I was given two forms to fill out. One stating that the results of the session would not be directly provided to me, but instead to Richmond county. Although I can understand why initial direct results would be provided to the county I didn’t understand why they wouldn’t be able to give them to me as well. Seeing as withholding patient results is illegal, even if I’m not the one that is paying for the service. Let me add that the HR lady with Richmond county told me that I’d be able to receive a copy of the results, so I was puzzled by this. So prior to signing it where it said I’d been given opportunity to ask questions about the form I asked the receptionist my questions about obtaining a copy. She stated that I should be able to obtain one from the county, but she wasn’t sure. I added her statement underneath in the open field of the sheet. To which she told me that I couldn’t do that. Although I’ve actually told directly from a previous personal doctor that I could actually sign, add, or strike through any legal waivers in terms of giving permission to release my medical records. She told me that the doctor may not see me for adding that down at the bottom. She told me she’d be back with me after contacting the HR lady that set my appointment up. I heard her trying to get in touch with the HR lady so I walked back to the window to try and provide her the direct phone number to who set up my appt. To which she opened the window and just ignored me several times. I finally said, “ma’am, are you going to want this phone number or not?” She said to me she was trying to get through and held her hand up at me, so I walked away in an attempt to contact the HR lady myself. After a few minutes I walked back to the window and asked her what the issue was with me adding the note if it didn’t hold any obligation, since she only stated that I should be able to obtain a copy but that they would have to provide me a copy. I explained to her I’ve done it to several forms with several doctors and she just said that unless I signed the form as it was I wouldn’t be seen. I told her that was fine, I asked her to provide me a proof slip that I did in fact go to the appt but was not seen. To which she refused. Which again is very ridiculous and “Karen” of her, so I told her that it was fine I’d just take a picture showing I was there and so I did. Then she exclaimed that I couldn’t take pictures in the office to prove I was there. She told me to leave and that I could not return. I did read in one review prior to going to Thai appointment that this, “doctor can be paid to forge false results”, which is actually my big reason for wanting to be able to obtain results from both the doctor and the county."

Dr. Walters allows me to sit on the the session, but I sit quietly as the magic begins.....Dr. Walters keeps my son fully engaged and allows him to fully express his feelings. He offers great coping skills methods. And, most importantly he advises my son to pray and ask God to take care of him. A big plus! I love the way he educates my son about the Virus and advises him to do what makes him safe, masking in public places, social distancing etc... without making him feel worse. We have completed a second session and will continue to utilize his services as needed. He's a true Gem."
