Christine’s Place 221 Verner Springs Road, Greenville, SC 29609

"Walked by this place with my partner on the way to the nearby Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery, and happened to stumble upon a large group of patrons and likely staff standing outside of the bar (15-20 people). Immediately, got stared down by everyone outside until we got closer to them. And I mean disgusted, angry looks from everybody. We said nothing to them, and kept walking straight ahead. One of the lady’s who looked like an owner/staff member shouted out, “Where’s the rest of your pants?” To my partner who was wearing shorts. Then, one of the men asked if I was “Holding”, which he then followed up with “like meth?” A few of them laughed, and we continued to walk straight, not interacting or saying a word back. Needless to say, I will NEVER even consider stepping foot in this frightening, disgusting looking establishment, which shouldn’t even still be standing if you ask me. If you are not a hardcore biker, or if you don’t enjoy fighting random people walking down a street, I would suggest you avoid this place at all costs. They are looking to serve a specific crowd, and definitely do not take kindly to strangers. Scary place for real."

"This is an old establishment filled with regulars and a few irregulars. There's a pool table and full bar service. There's also ample parking out back. The drinks are moderately priced and the staff is friendly. The restroom is cleaner than most. That's why this little cozy place gets 5 Stars from me!"
