"I love IAC, and i miss it too! In my opinion, this is the best school you could send your child too. The Richland 2 District school i went to wasn't the best but I was able to adjust. If there was a competition between R2 School district and IAC, I would choose IAC no matter how many times they wanted a rematch. The teachers here are very loving and kind and i actually felt like they cared. I was SHOCKED to see all the bad reviews people had written and most of the people i didn't even meet during my 6 years of attending this school. Inshaallah everyone currently at IAC is happy, safe, and getting a good education. Because towards the end of my last year, my grades were dropping and that was my fault because I wasn't doing my homework. In conclusion, I loved and still love IAC. (100,000,000 STARS)"
"I really love this school. I got very upset upon seeing the reviews that some people have written. This school is amazing. It helps its students excel not only in educations but in morals and characteristics. It builds student to be leaders and not followers. Having all those qualities and being rated this poorly is not fair at all. This school also encourages children and student to be the best in their deen, it builds steadfast muslims. The teachers, who have the proper degrees to teach, are understanding and willing to help the student one-on-one on lessons that may have been harder to understand. I can say that everyday, I used get up excited to go to school, to learn and laugh among my peers and teachers. This school is like one big family, a very welcoming family. Even though the fee is high, it totally pays off. It teaches the children to be modest and humble. This school does not only include Arabs. It has children and teacher from many different backgrounds. I, myself, am not Arab."
"Terrible place. Horrible environment for the family. They delete all of the negative reviews. Beg people for money constantly, literally every Friday on speaker. Not a place of Worship for sure. The school’s management is under a bunch of racist Palestinians who think they’re big shots. I would never recommend attending prayer at this place, or even enrolling your child at this even if it was the last institution on earth. Homeschooling your child would 100% be better for you sanity."
"At first glance, many people misjudge the atmosphere of IAC. Because so many people are unaccustomed to their methods of teaching, they believe teachers to be racist and hotheaded. In reality, they are newly qualified teachers only trying to gain experience to help their students excel. They are human so they CAN get frustrated just like any person or parent with their own children. They are a tough but disciplined system that does not tolerate erratic behavior. They are fair and treat everyone equally. They are not Arab-oriented and it may only seem so because they have established long term relationships with recurring students and their families over many years interracting with them. It really is a top-notch and those giving bad reviews are just unfamiliar with such a proper education system. I have been there for ELEVEN years and i would never have been the Muslimah I am today had I been a public school not IAC. I really hope you can investigate and research on your own without the bias of these negative reviews. Inshallah you will make good choices for yourself or for your children. THE ONLY THING I WISH FOR THEM TO CHANGE is for them to collaborate with other mosques in the area like Masjid Al Muslimeen. Then it would be the absolute and most perfect atmosphere for blossoming young Muslims to grow and flourish together. Inshallah they will consider this and creat a stronger bond with each other as a whole Muslim community."
"First of all, remember this is a PRIVATE school...so of course it's going to be strict and orderly with a very strong mindset on high education. If you want to succeed and go to a prestigious college or university then this is the right school for you. This school is for hard workers...lazy students usually hate this school because it's strict on homework and education. The teachers also can't stand bullying and rudeness. They will send emails home if the student is being rude and bullying another; and they will have parent-teacher meetings if the student continues to do so. They're also strict on respect. Disrespectful behavior and Racism is NOT appreciated here. The school welcomes students of many different cultures other than Arab. You might want to know why you can trust anything I say. But I assure you, this is because I have been a student at this school and I have really excelled. I am not Arab and I definitely am not from an Arab country. In fact the only reason my parents put me in this school was so I could learn to become a strong, respectful, smart Muslimah. When I do something rude without noticing I am being rude, the teachers explain to me about what I did wrong. I came here without knowing the English language and now have become quite the writer, all thanks to this school. Yes, I have had misunderstandings with some of my teachers; but not every school is perfect. I have come to accept the rules here. Rules such as the modest school uniform and the healthy snacks. Some of the kids complain the teachers are way too strict. However, I think they are being unreasonable. The teachers work hard to make us reach our highest potential because the parents pay for this, and they don't want to let them down. Most of the teachers are young women who have graduated from grad school with masters degree. The teachers are also very strict on the school uniform, which makes sense because this is a private school...Duh! It might be hard for public school students to catch up to the curriculum however. So most of the time the lagging students are set up with tutors and extra classes to improve on their grade. Many of the people who were once failing, improved upon coming to this school, like one of my friends for example. Also the curriculum here is more demanding, than of public schools. First graders can already read chapter books that I read in second grade. This is an opportunity no hard working child should miss. Also one of the reviewers who gave a 1 star and a bad review, I already know him. He had come from public school. He didn't do well in this school at first but then gradually got higher grades. He didn't like the school from the beginning because it had many restrictions..(cause its a private school!). So I think its unfair to judge it based on the bad reviews. Anyways, I hope this helped whoever wants to go to an Islamic school with a healthy Muslim environment. Anyone who cares for their child and wants them to grown up a strong confident Muslim, should send their child here, to IAC. Its a wonderful experience, at least it was for me.Everyone is like a one big family. Thank you for your time, Yuki F. P.S: If you really want proof this is a prestigious school for great minds, then hear this. One of the students who was taught here from the beginning, graduated and was accepted to one of the highest colleges in America. Mashallah. I hope you guys take this opportunity and try this school."
